It should also be worth bearing in mind that ARLA is very London and South East biased

On which pages numbers does the report say those two points?0 -
Its very clear after the mortgage approval figures (over 50% fall in a year) that things are getting a lot worse. Again many of these figures are historical and lag behind even worse figures.
Have you noticed how the commentators are talking about bigger price drops every month. The telegraph was talking about 25% or more, my 50% fall prediction (based on 3.5 times salary) is getting closer all the time.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

On balance ARLA member report increased achievable rent levels over the last six months on all types of rented property but with a lower proportion saying this was the case in Prime Central London (57% compared with 65% three months ago) and the Rest of the South East (down 62% to 56%) altough the rest of the UK the proportion was up from 44% to 49%
Regarding my interpretation that the ARLA report is very heavily based on London and the South East, this is borne from two factors: -
1) 61.4% of responding members were from London and the South East (39.4% from South East)
2) Every statistical graph shows basic three areas, London, South East and the Rest of the UK/ Only London and the South East have statistical data for their area's
In my personal opinion, I do not think that lumping everywhere outside London or the South east into one category, is a good statistic to use for evaluation of the data for your region. I can understand why they have done this due to trying to use a higher number of data for the Rest of the UK, but its of no use when wanting to analyse specific data:wall:
