My tip to beat the credit crunch is the audi a2 1.4tdi preferably. If you can get a 52 plate with sub 50k for around £5500 you'll be on to a winner. 60mpg £35 a year rfl and german engineering.
the problem though is that the A2 looks utterly rediculous. For some reason it reminds me of a pug.

Not much boot space though, IIRC, which was the main thing that put me off one when I looked at one a while back.mr.broderick wrote: »Good afternoon, i work for a main nissan dealer but we do sell non franchise cars aswell.

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

True and they are very expensive compared to similar cars. Wife loved her 2 though and the odd time i drove them i enjoyed it.0 -
and the sweet irony is that it's a tory standing up for civil liberties.Quite right. Hopefully Derek Davis' actions will bring the issue of civil rights to the forefront. Currently it seems that the public has been brainwashed by the media.
davis will be re-elected, and he knows it.
lab have zilch chance in this constituency, trailing 3rd at the last GE.
as stunts go, this is up there with eval K.miladdo0 -

I love pugs, but I could'nt get that car as my new part time job (hehehe, if you can even call it that!! its a blooming hobby really) involves me lugging around a very large bit of equipment around the country.
Pretty much thats all I wanted to post was that pugs are cute as heck.

It does however put the issue up there, front and centre.
As it stood, the whole thing would have went into the background and Brown would have got away with pushing 42 days detention through, however grubbily he did it. The Lords will probably reject it anyway but new legislation allows it to be passed regardless. Davis knew that Cameron wasn't solidly behind opposition to the law should it come back to the Commons so he's taking pre-emptive action.
As regards the whole issue of Civil Liberties, I don't believe that the Tories are as anti-liberties as you think. They're certainly traditionally behind harsher laws but when it comes to 'freedom' they're no worse than New Labour who seem to 'know better' on everything and do things 'for the people's own good'. There has been this bizarre p1ssing contest in the last few years between the two as to who can be "harder on terror" and this makes Labour just as bad IMO.
I wouldn't trust either party, frankly. I'd expect the Libdems to be standing up and making more of an issue of defending civil liberties but they don't seem to be as vocal as I would like either. Well done to individuals like Davis who stand up and be counted.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -
Amazing innit. I'd never had much time for Davis, but now I am very impressed.0

We went to test drive one a new A2 a few years back. Or at least I think it was an A2... looks like your photo... similar to the Mercedes thingy but by Audi.
The dealer then told us they weren't making any more... end of the line. Couldn't see that being good for residual values. Then I found they were aluminium which makes repair costlier if bodywork damaged... and I wonder if Audi ever went about setting up the specialist repair shops around the UK for aluminium bodywork they said they would for these cars. Also explained why the quote for car insurance on the Audi A2 came back quite a bit higher than I expected.0
