Just had a thought I have a pay monthly sim card, no phone just the card. Pay 15 a month for unlimited text and 200 mins as we have no landline anymore.

Would they question this?? set up last month as spending to much on pay as you go.

As long as your payments are up to date & the OR knows about it it'll be fine just explain you have no landline & they'll allow a little extra in your SOA...some members here have had mobile contracts & been allowed to keep them no problems

Got to keep mine with three without any hassle. Though wasn't in arrears on it.

still got about 10 months left on an 18 month contract.

    Thank you.

Next thought I know you can claim to wavier some of the fees BUT they would want all partners details as well on that form. I'm thinking should I just pay the full fees. Really wanna keep hubby out of this as his name clear. Parents have offered to lend me the fees money, so I can get this sorted out.

Can they even ask about partners income?? if only me going BR.

My tax credits used to go into the Barclays joint account. Now into Nationwide BS, but again this is joint.

Now I have my post office account, should I transfer it to there. OR to my other Barclays account in my name solely. However my hubby had been using this for his wages until this week. Will they question this?? Should I close this account down?? Will they want details from joint account, if only in his name now???

It's only me filing BR as the debts are in my name.

On your SOA it asks for and i quote "Section 5 cont-BANK ACCOUNTS AND CREDIT CARDS.

5.4 Please list any bank, building society or national savings accounts you hold,OR HAVE HELD in the last TWO YEARS, INCLUDING any JOINT,business o DORMANT accounts. So regardless of you closing it now they still want bank details, acc number, OH name and balance. It will not affect OH credit rating iF your name is taken off the account before bc but you will stil have to put it on your SOA.d

Right but if only me going BR they can't touch accounts now in hubbys name.

Surely as he not filing they can't use his income when working out if I can pay anyone from I&E.

So I guess it just to check I don't have thousands in there lol I wish....

Sorry for so many questions but hubby worried this will affect him.

He has his own debt to pay....

They will expect to see his contribution to the household on your forms, and yes that will increase the amount of surplus you have, and could lead to an IPA.

It will only effect him in so much as his credit file, if you have any joint acc/loans ect at the time of going bc.As peachy says they will take his household contribution into consideration when working out an IPA.

The OR can"touch" whatever he wants:rotfl: He has lots of ways. If he thinks you have stashed cash in a joint acc and then taken your name off to hide things he can ask for statements of that account. They do do serches so it's no good trying to hide things, thats why we always say be honest as possible. Not saying your not bu just trying to explain.

I had a joint acc with OH and got my name taken off before bc,my OR still asked what money went in every wk,not sure if he checked:o .D

Ring the court, ours was a drop in and you did not even have to have the paperwork filled out,as long as you had all the letters from the creditors with you they assisted in completed the forms, that meant that we would of had to have gone back again to submit them but the help was there if required.

One thing I can say about the forms is that when I first got them I treated them like all the rest of the letters that came through the post and filed them under 'read but not actioned'! However once I started to go through them I did find that I began to understand them by simply filling the bits in that made sence to me and then going back later and looking at the other stuff and suddenly I was doing budgets on excell and all sorts!!

CAB is a good idea but to be honest you will get more advice from this forum alone than anywhere so make a start on them and if there is anything you dont understand simply post a question, everone on here has been there and from my experience is more than happy to help in any way that they can, bloody life saver this fourm!!
