Quick update.
Going to Doctors on Friday morning re bad back....thats the earliest appointment that the Doctor I like to see has this week.
Still sunny here but I shall be keeping an eye on the skies above, have a line full of washing that I really dont want to put in the spare room, not that I could get in there, speakers and amps all over the place, and I need to get to my sewing machine but I think that will have to wait until OH gets home to lift them out the way.

If anyone is interested I think the sale is still on - just type christys towels and the website should come up.
At a quarter of the RRP it is worth a look.

Afternoon all
Not read the thread yet so hugs to anyone in need.
Had a lovely weekend away but now back to earth with a bump. Seem to have mucked up this months budget
so am trying to be as frugal as possible until pay day.
DD1's tv blew up last night - luckily we kept and old one that was given to us a couple of years ago so will dig that out in a bit and swap them over - not sure I want to enter the pit that is her room though. The car passed it's MOT which was great, the element in the cooker had blown again and the man's just been to fix that - so far so good.
Feel like I need a kick up the bum to get me back on track....maybe I'll find my enthusiasm in DD's room under the piles of books and clothes
Got a meeting at DD2's school tonight so need to do early tea for DD's before we rush out the door. DD's will have fish and rice, DH and I will have some curry from the freezer (at least I think it's curry) and the rest of last nights fruit crumble which was just yummy with thick custard. I could justify the custard as I did swim 40 lengths last night.
Hope you all have a great afternoon."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Good afternoon everyone :hello:
Still at work and we've got a training session this evening to do with guided writing, so I'm making the most of being able to have a break! I've nearly finished marking all the writing tests (or quizes, as I've been calling them
They might never notice!). One girl really made me laugh as it was just SO (too?) honest!
On my way home tonight, I've got to pop into the shopping centre where Tesco is. Apparently East of England Show tickets are on sale there and I'd given DH the task of buying them. Needless to say, he's delegated the task back....... plus he works no where near where you can buy tickets.
Supper tonight will be a yellow sticker quiche, along with new potatoes and peas. Always good for an easy meal. I really should try to make my own quiche one day............

Afternoon everyone
Well the mississippi mud cake was to die for despite its calories:rotfl: Got some toffee vodka on the go. Doing salmon with veggies for dinner.
Mum's arm still isn't good but she won't listen and keeps on doing what she shouldn't.
Went shopping on Monday and it came to £50:eek: Mum spent another £30 and it was only fruit, veg and some meat. Then another £30 at the petrol pump - how are we meant to cope.
Received my first cheque today for my voiceover work. Doesn't quite count as payment as I had to register with the site first. But it's good it's more than half paid for the fee after just a month of being on there.
Right must do my daily clicks and see if I have any surveys to do.
Hope everyone's ok
