Hey had a canny weekend. My brother came over yesterday, we have such a cool time together, just watching dvd's and drinking pop. I was naughty though yesterday, I bought two tickets to see The Wildhearts in London in September, I know I shouldn't have, but I couldn't resist. So me and my brother are going to London....to buy heat magazine....em no to have a willd night of rock. :T

Have filled in my court papers to reclaim my bank charges. Am going to take them back tomorrow. My DD1 is going to Lightwater Valley with the school, and I am dead jealous. Got my shopping from Asda this weekend and made the most of their items for 50p deals. Got 4 packs of mince, some sausage, some oranges etc, only thing they had run out of was the grapes.

Have put some books, a spare printer cartridge that I never used and some vinyl records (happy hardcore stuff) on ebay to sell. Already got a bid for the printer ink cartridge :rotfl: Also managed to add £4 to my £2 savers club. :j

Have booked a Luton van for when I move, t minus 12 days now!

    Have spent this weekend

    Post Office £3.41
    Asda £27.58
    DD2's tooth fairy money £1

Am feeling a wee bit down. Its t minus 9 days till moving, I am not organised, my spending diary is not up to date and I am battling with the banks. Had a call from a creditor today and they left a message saying "Can you contact XXXX on XXXXXXXXXXXXX on an urgent legal matter." Well I sent them a full and final settlement offer two weeks ago and I don't want to call them as its an 0870 number and probably costs a bomb.

    I need hugs......

I am an emotional wreck at the moment. Bloody Bank of Scotland have phoned again, giving me a lecture on breaking my arrangement to pay (I was one day late-I said I would pay on the 30th June and paid on the 1st of July instead), and they make me feel like liar of the century. They threatened me with sending my account to a solicitors and I just said "Send it, I am at the stage where I really don't care anymore." At that point the "human-robot" on the phone said, "Well we would prefer to make another agreement with you" so I have.

Just a week and a day until the house move, am I sorted? Am I heck. Doing another mystery shop today so hopefully that will cheer me up a bit. Papers off to court for me vs the banks today too. Lets see if I can get them to cough up my dough. Will keep you posted.

So there is less than a week to my move. I went out on friday to see my cousin's band play, they do classic rock stuff with a wee bit of the fratellis and the view thrown in. £2 entry and 2 pints of diet coke was my spend. Am stressed to death about the housemove, but its more my parents stressing me by nagging at me than me stressing myself. I feel like my debts are the last of my worries at the moment tbf. I still haven't heard about the community care grant and that is peeing me off as I need to pay my deposit and bond for this new place by friday and I am short. Still doing the mystery shopping. Signed up to slice the pie too. Must be getting a wee bit off a money saving buzz eh?

I am SOOOOOOOOOOO hacked off. I was due to move house last friday. Now I don't usually make a big advertisment of this fact but I have a severe mental health problem (the reason I don't say much about it normally is because people immediately become all coy and suspiscious and I get treated like a mad axe murderer by some~although saying that its pretty much a true impression of me when I have PMT:rotfl: ).

Anyway I am trying to move house because I am struggling as a single parent to look after my 3 girls with no help from their dad and I want to move closer to my mam so she can help me. At times the girls go for respite care to help both me and them as I find it so difficult at times.

Anyway, I put in for a community care grant to help me move house. I am in private rented accomodation, and am moving to private rented accomodation. However when I phoned the DSS this morning I found out that I had been turned down for a grant and now have to appeal this. Now I know there are others out there who deserve a grant, but hey, I am struggling to work out how I cannot meet the criteria.

Add to that that the last tenants in the house I am moving into ran up a HUGE bill on their gas and so British Gas got a warrant (after they moved out and my landlord had done the inventory~apparantly they messed the house up pretty bad) and so when they went in to check the house was ok for me to move into they realised that there was no gas meter, and no gas meter means no gas safety certificate.

So my landlord has been trying to get British Gas to get the meter put back in for the past two weeks, and they are supposed to do it today, the DSS have turned me down, so the money I needed to move in isn't there, and my dad is driving me crazy with constant phone calls, basically having a go at me for British Gas and the DSS's failings.

I so need a break, so need time out and need a damn good cry.

Oh what an awful (and wonderful) day. I have found out that the house I was supposed to move into had been totally cut off from the gas supply grid. That had me in aboslute tears, as the letting agent could not tell me when they would get this sorted and my lease at this house runs out on friday.

So I had a bit of a manic few hours, phoned a new letting agent, saw a new house in the same town as I want to move to, filled in the forms, paid the admin fee, and this letting agent says that they can get me in there by friday.

I haven't told the other letting agent yet, they phoned just after 5pm to tell me that the gas SHOULD be on tomorrow, but they don't know when the house will be ready. However the house I saw today is £25 a month less, but TWICE as big.

I am not being messed about by this letting agent. They say I cannot get my admin fee back, but if they refuse I am going to trading standards as I paid a lot of money on the 5th June 2006, to have all the checks done, THEY were the ones who wanted me to move in LAST friday, they asked me to put in the notice with my current landlord so I could move asap, they have messed me around and I still have NO move in date.

I am one messed up, angry geordie lass tonight. I want this all sorted, and this other company are really going to pull out all the stops to get this sorted for friday for me. I just hope it comes off or me and the three kids will be in cardboard city come friday night.
