i spent just over £60 and got just over 1900 points. triple points were only on the 200 you normally get when spending £50, they don't triple the 1200.
also the only freebies i saw were mince pies and sweeties and drinks. saw no such thing as FHM girls or wine or sandwiches. was not pleased with stupid sales assistent who wouldnt go check the stock room for the kenco frothie machine, ended up with coffee machine instead and loads of bath/shower/baby stock ups.
Looks like we've been to the same Boots store this evening. I was well chuffed it was triple points tooSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -

I went to the one in Ilford Yesterday. Not sure about that exact voucher, but they were letting you use pretty much any voucher you wanted (including double points ones) Also giving out triple points. I used a double points voucher and a voucher from the AP machine instore. They were also still giving out the £5 no7 vouchers.
Feeling very pleased with myself - I spent £41 (had a £10 love2shop voucher from pigsback), got £80 worth of stuff, and 2150 points thru triple points and double points voucher. Woohoo :j :j :j I love boots! Christmas is now covered! (sorry to show off)In a Den first, Theo Paphitis has been getting business information from a talking tree.0 -

I had an excellent time at my Boots evening. Spent £101, and totalling up:
1. the normal points I'd gained;
2. the extra lots of 1200 points I'd gained;
3. the multibuy savings
4. the addiontal points voucher (the one from the machine that give 350 points for spending over £40)
5. the 10% off voucher (sent as an Ad card mailing)
6. the £5 skincare voucher I was given
I gained £107. So in effect they paid me £6 to take all the stuff away - well pleased!!
I need to buy a load of makeup for my wedding soon so I'm planning to go the next evening in November too. I've already got £300 in points so planning to buy a camcorder in January sales.0 -
Sorry if this has been asked before but I havent found the answer. What do you do to get an Advantage card mailing as I dont think I've had one?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Hi tiff,
I'm not sure, as I've always had them. I guess you should check that your address details with them are correct, and that you are also opted in for any mailings. Give them a call and ask - there's a number on the boots web site somewhere in the Help section.
Definitely worthwhile having as they often send 10% off / double/triple points vouchers, along with free samples and other extra points coupons.0 -
