  • I tried to use a 10% off voucher when reddeming points but SA would not accept it. She said that it was valid only for buying.

if you have any of the £5 off vouchers they were giving you when you spent £20 they can be used from the 21st november so if your store has an evening on next week you can get 1200 points plus save £5

boots at lakeside have an evening on the 24th nov so you can use your vouchers then

I thought their one had been and gone.....................might make sense to go to Lakeside instead of Chelmsford on Wednesday. Bigger store and I can do some other shopping I want whilst there! Thanks very much chatterbox76!:):)

However, when I checked my receipt the 10% had been taken off the original cost, not the reduced price, taking off £7 and bringing the cost down to £28. (plus the £5 voucher, plus 300 points for spending over £30, as I bought my lunch at the same time!)
This happen to me yesterday the till took item £120 less10% then less £60 discount = item £ 48 !! It should have been £60.The discount preprogrammed in the tills does not allow for the 10% vouchers to used- brilliant !!!! They were refusing to give out 10% vouchers at te branch I went to but I found one behind a till ;) plus used my 350 extra points voucher from advantage card and got £5 off voucher !!!!
I think Santa invented Boots for all us ladies !
  • Yes, it is true that the 10% off vouchers have the name of the store on them but last year they were much more widespread and many stores accepted vouchers from other stores as nearly everyone was handing them in. I certainly had mine accepted whilst redeeming points this year and bagged a fantastic digital camera (whilst last year it was a digital video camcorder) so its certainly worth trying and a shame if you get refused as I had no trouble at all this year or last (although I do recall one person out of perhaps 10 saying no, I simply left the purchases and bought when another person said yes) - They do actually scan in any store.
