Morning all
Off to work soon & it's a lovely sunny day. I have loads of stuff to photocopy for BIL & 2 letters to compose for him
Mioliere, yes it it is tendonitis, caused by 15 years of making cables, the Dr told me to stop after 10 years before I lost the use of my hands, but the ex didn't believe him so I had to carry on, hmmm, I wonder why he's the ex, lol.
Have a good day everyone
Hugs Hester

Morning, lovely day here too, shame I'm off to work.
Steak for tea tonight, thanks dad.so that'll be a quick and easy meal after I've finished my 2nd job. Oh how I hate Mondays and Fridays when I do a split shift.
I think I might tackle the ironing after tea, that might make the house look tidier.
Bigs hugs to all, good luck with the tests DG.

Yes, its a beautiful day here too in Kent. Washing is on the line. DW will be emptied when I have finished my cuppa. Then I am off to London to take my mum for her hospital appt to see the chest consultant. Hope we don't have to wait around too long. My mum gets tired very easily now and in this weather she will be wilting quite quickly I suspect. Hope to get back in time to get a bit of ironing done. Going to have a look in the freezer shortly to see what we can have for dinner. No inspiration at the mo.
Have a good day everyone - byeeeeeeee0 -

WELCOME LILMIL
HUGS to all who want one, BETH hugs to you at your friends funeral.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WMF!
Forced myself yesterday to go out into the garden and sort out my tomatoe plants. Had a better afternoon and OH cooked a nice roast dinner. Thankyou for the hugs folks.
Have been awake since 4am. Need to phone my doctor in a bit and ask her for a sick note to cover this week. There's no way I'm ready to go back to work yet and am getting really panicky at the thought of it. I've forced myself to go out for a run this morning. I just know I've got to fight this darkness or I'm going to spend my time in bed with the duvet over my head. I had exactly the same thing when I was in my early 20's.
I have an essay to write today, only 1,500 words outlining my literature review and what I'm doing. Also will pop out at lunchtime to see my DB who is over from USA.
Have a good day all.

Morning all,
Back to miserable weather again this weekend. Public holiday today so probably lovely fine weather the rest of the week. Went shopping yesterday after taking DGS to the flea market. Didn't buy anything except some rocky road & a balloon hat for DGS. I must ask how long it lasted. :rolleyes:Today just been pottering around the place. DH gave me a hand to get some more free mandarins
and he harvested more carrot, sweet potato & spinach. Sigh.
Having spinach  frittata for tea tonight followed by fruit salad and cream.
CharliesMum As if I would do that.Ouch.
Ruby Hope your leg heals well. DH broke up a dog fight with our dog (rottweiller) & neighbours dog (staffy) years ago in our yard. He was bitten  really badly. Ben (our dog) went for staffy's throat and ripped it to pieces. We paid for vet bills. It was  to watch. Mind you, their dog jumped the fence to attack ours. Ben was such a placid loving dog
but hated any other dog on his turf.
MrsMix  Fingers crossed for DD's test results.
CM Hope you got lovely weather for the party & no mozzies there to spoil it.
Haribo :kisses3:
<hugs> to those not well or down atm. Will pop back later. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Morning all,
just a quick one at the moment as I have to go out over to brighton in a minute, going to visit a housing/homelessness project with some others from uni, then time for a nice lunch on the beach or something
Good luck to those waiting for test results, or feeling poorly and ((((((hugs)))))) for you, and anyone else who needs.
Happy Birthday WMF!
MrsMix, nice to hear from you, sounds like you are keeping busy...
Good luck with the Lit Review Janny, hope the writing goes well.
Went for a drink last night with the chap I should have met last week (from the internet). He was very niceFunny to talk to as well & I think we may well be meeting again.... bonus that he lives 500 yards down the road!!!!!!
Am sure there was loads more I wanted to say, but have a good day & I will catch up later.
Oh yes, Martyn, I get completely fed up with my ex, but (as noted above) it doesn't make me feel like all men are like thatI think it would be a terrible shame if people let one person affect the rest of their lives.. And of course we want to hear about how you are doing!!! We nearly sent search parties out last week when you went all quiet, lol!! I am so pleased you have found happiness with your gypsy girl

:hello: Good Morning!
It's Penny the Cockapoos 1st birthday today! _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_ _party_
I shall buy her another tug toy (her favourite) in town to celebrate!
Off to the dentist later this morning so if all is ok I will try to check out a couple of the charity shops at that end of town. I will be taking in a bag of paperbacks though, (first of many, it is way past time they went)
Went to my first car boot sale of the year yesterday and picked up a few bargains, new large sewing basket (my last one broke) for £1, pr of knitting needles 10p, 3 videos 10p each, book for ds 20p, 3 over the door hangers 20p each. Also some crockery very cheap. Very pleased with my little haul!
We are starting to plan turning the littlest bedroom into a home office but are faltering at the first post as dh will only look at ikea as he hates assembling mfi stuff. We need to look at somewhere else as ikea seem a bit limited in that area, it's a small room but would still like a corner desk. Can anyone recommend anywhere else (where the assembly instructions make sense that is) for office desks etc?
Right must make a start on the day
(((hugs)))) to Beth, PP, Smoky, Jayward, Mrs Mix, DG's oh, redruby, Aussies sister, hester, candygirl, ivyleaf and anyone else who could use one.
:hello: waves to Catowen, Aussie, Haribo, tattycath, shez, essex girl, annie, snowy and anyone else who can see me wave! lol!Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.
