Do it, do it, do it, do it!!!!! Ok, i'm slightly biased but there you go. I retrained over ten years ago and have never regretted it. I don't work full time because of children but this job really fits in with them. I work school hours and Saturdays when DH 'bonds' with the children :rotfl: . I always said i'd only ever do reflexology but over the last few years have done more and more courses which is fab as lots of clients come for more than one thing. Ok, I realise i'm rambling but if you have any other questions please ask xx
PS can you tell I love my job !!!0 -
Soappie - hope you feel better soon.
Pigpen - i'm just going to redress the balance here, don't want you to get bigheaded with people being nice to you or anything....
YOU NEVER DO ANYTHING....YOU SHOUT....YOU'RE MEAN TO ME ...erm... can't think of anymore :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: .
Actually, your fab (i've done nothing this week either) xx0 -
Morning all
Stripped the bed and remade it. Two loads of washing done and already dry, folded and put away.
Dusted and polished bedrooms and vacuumed right through upstairs. Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Took the dog out for an early walk (about 6.30) and then to the vets about 9.15.
Peeled potatoes for dinner and then had a nice coffee and sit down to Springwatch from last night.0 -
Pigpen - you can't possibly be lazy if you run a household of 10 - the laundry, shopping, cooking and clearing up must take several hours each day then there is all your ebay selling, decluttering and sewing.
No there is only one very lazy person on here but eventually, one day, even she will do a list ......................... then I will post what I've done
Mudbath - well done with the voluntary work. Quick question about the reflexology - I had a taster session once at a Mind, Body Spirit fair and want to do a full session - would I be fully clothed other than my feet? Wondered if best in a skirt rather than trousers.
Lil_me - good luck with the assignment, hope you complete it OK
GnB - everything sorted now with your DH's job?
Right today have plenty of work to do so think aim is 1hr chunks of work (paid or flying) followed by 15 mins, and no longer, on here until 9pm when I'll settle down to watch The Apprentice final.Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0 -
Hippy - yes, you'd be fuy clothed. You'd be fine wearing trousers so long as they're a little bit loose at the bottom so you can roll them up a bit. If you don't you might get oil or talc on the bottom of them. Really, it's whatever you're most comfortable in xx0

Hiya
I've not done any flying yet but i've;
- delivered accounts to accountant (I usually hand these in in January with a few days until the deadline so really chuffed!).
- baked a banana cake (I keep meaning to do this with overripe bananas and never do - well, i've done it and it is totally yummy!).
- done banking (but keyed in the wrong amount for the deposit so need to phone and correct it now).
Things to do;
- s/s kitchen
- s/s dining room
- s/s living room
- vacuum upstairs
- study (exams getting a bit close now!!)
- sort out meal for 4 children tonight
- brownie run
- washing machine
- dry for ten mins and hang
- check greenhouse
That's it. Anyone up for a hhc 1 until 130? xx0 -
GnB - everything sorted now with your DH's job?
Thanks for asking, seems to have settled down. Think it was abit of a panic/knee jerk reaction by the site manager! Think he must have had a wee think over night and realised firing him probably wasnt the best course of action:rolleyes:The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
gnb I'm glad to hear the good news about your DH. It must have been really worrying.
My DH is back at home again twiddling his thumbs and getting in the way.
Actually he has changed spare room bed and hung out two loads of washing, swept back porch/conservatory, moved loads of stone from a wall that has been taken down next door, cleaned out hens, fed and walked all the animals. I might let hime have an hour off.
Mudbath can I have your banana recipe please? We have lost ours and the one I found on the internet was too soggy.
Good luck everyone with assignments, uni applications etc. I know how difficult it is to work, look after house, kids. OH and then do a course on top.
