I was thinking of training in some kind of holistic/alternative therapies and then I could work from home.

    Morning everyone

Been missing this last couple of days to net problems, namely someone tripped over the wire and pulled it out!!! :rotfl: All sorted now (obviously!) I worked extra yesterday so not had as much chance to [STRIKE]be lazy [/STRIKE] fly, hopefully I shall put that to rights today although I am going to have a look at new TV's and see if I can make head or tail of all the different bits and decide on what we need.

Just hemmed W's shorts back so better go and rally the pair of them. See you all later xx

    Morning all

Nasty, grey day here. Amazing what an effect it has on my mood and how positive I do/don't feel. Don't like really hot weather but it's amazing how a bit of sunshine puts life into perspective.

Off to work this morning. Done so far:-
    • Carpet sweeper used where necessary
    • cleaned bathroom and loo
    • 2 x packed lunches
    • swept uncarpeted floors
    • tidied landing (for some reason DS2 has decided this is where he will put stuff he doesn't want or need immediately  - we have had several words about this !)
    • stacked dishwasher
    • hung one load washing on line (am now hoping it doesn't rain while I am at work)
Went to DS2's parents evening last night and received glowing reports from everyone, so very happy there. My book friend is coming for lunch today - we get together every other Wednesday, eat cream cakes and talk books - so no flying planned for this afternoon but will have a look at pigpens lists and choose something from them to do when my friend has gone home......I do think she (pigpen that is, not my friend) is amazing - seems to cram so much into every day and still finds time to lead flylady and keeps a sense of humour....great stuff :T

Not really time to read the thread so hope everyone is ok and has a good day .

    See you later

I'm not well. (I know you've all suspected that for months!) so phoned in sick and am going to have a duvet day. I'm bunged up, have sticky eyes, a sore throat and hardly slept last night because of the heat. Don't think it's hayfever - I think it is some sort of cold.

But then, I might just say sod the duvet, stick it in the washing machine as it's nice and fine and good drying weather and then make it a lie in the lounger in the garden day. Either way, I don't plan to do much.
