    Back again..
Hugs to Bonsibabe; you sound a lot more positive this afternoon. Others have said it but every cloud has a silver lining. Glad you feel better about things.
I went back to bed at 11am and slept until 1, I must have needed it. Glad I had a flurry of activity this morning though even if I didn't finish the list - no gardening done today, the wind is wild and chilly.
Went into Newcastle with my hit list and got it all done with no distractions. Could've gone spend crazy in Lakeland but I was very good.I also got a fab dress for my brother's 40th party next month, my aunt gave me a refund receipt for my birthday (she's odd like that but generous) for the shop Quiz. I don't know if you know it but I'm about 20 years too old for the stuff in there and not daring enough to pretend otherwise. Anyhow, not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I went in and bought the only thing that I could possibly get away with wearing and I love it. Here if you fancy a nosey..and the link has worked..

Going to bite the bullet and do another long-standing job now I think. The bath needs re-sealing but the old and mouldy needs to come off first. Wish me luck.

ps Dusty, I want popcorn now. I need to hunt a recipe for sticky gooey sauce though, salted is just wrong.

Solway - lovely dress! Only wish I could get away with wearing it but I'm a tad too rotund.

Oooh, I'm flippety floppety flopped! I've only done two things on my list - tried to phone the non-paying ebayer without success and have poured the large G&T!!!!

I really need to get myself off this chunky backside and fly a bit......if I could only find some energy...

Thanks to all for the positive thoughts, hubby came home to tell me that resettlement doesnt take a year as we first thought, if they get their way, when we go we're gone. But i emailed my local mp back home and am going to email my mep as well. Am defo not taking this one lying down. Spent the last 7 years keeping my gob shut but no more! They want a fight, then they have got one!!!!!

One major silver lining is that if we do go home then my parents are in the same city and we will at least have them and my oldest and bestest friend there for support. And if DH gets a day job then i can get one a few hours at nights and we might just keep our heads above water!

That and a grovel to the 2 banks we have loans with and the car company. We have never missed any payments so they should be okay about things. Glad i hadn't quite gotten round to cancelling all the PPI!

Right we are having aubergine and courgette fritters with sweet potato crisps for tea, just got to work out what kind of sauce i want to make with that. Trying to get the kids to eat some more veggies apart from carrots! Although I do have some of the carrot cookies left. I increased thriftlady's recipe and made 25 large ones! rather pleased that they turned out edible and that DD1 is absolutely in love with them and has had them for school snack yesterday and today!

Might try some apple ones and see if DD2 will eat those!

See you all later! Di xxx
