Thank you all. It'll still be a while before I go up to visit yet - the doctors are pleased with Dad though he's still not quite with us due to the drugs he's on. I'll be waiting until he's moved out of the HDU and given a little time to settle in, so it's likely to be a fortnight or so.

Mum's doing well. Not looking after herself too well, as you can imagine, but her DD1 and DS2 both live close and are rallying round. Plus I always check has she eaten properly when we talk on the phone and so on.

She'll be fine. Tougher than she looks, stronger than she thinks she is.

(((Squeaky and family))) - We'll miss you when you're away Squeaky; you do such a lot of work for us here on Old Style - creating all the indexed collections (creating them is a fulltime job in itself!); generally keeping the place tidy and always popping onto threads to answer all our questions and keep us right.

This is the best modded board I've ever used in my life and it's down to that (as well as O/Sers being generally fab) that makes it such a nice "home" on the internet.

So; we'll miss you while you're gone and we promise to try and keep the place tidy and ticking over for you coming back. I hope your Dad makes a full and speedy recovery and that you and your Mum are well supported while he'd doing that.
