The AccountUnity version looks the better one of the three.
The only issue is that it still doesn't have Kaupthing Edge (but it does have Birmingham Midshires).

Still doesn't work on a Mac...0

Strikes me that all the Banks should adopt this technology and allow it to be used subject to being validated regularly by APACS as secure.
And port the software to run on a MAC of course0 -

It doesn't work anywhere that ActiveX doesn't. Including Window's boxes that don't/can't have ActiveX installed.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0 -
I know. It's just typical though. Buy a Mac - a superior machine to a PC anyway
- and you find that the really useful stuff hasn't been made compatible with it...:D

Or Firefox. It relies on the "Security" (ahem) features of Internet Explorer."A nation of plenty so concerned with gain" - Isley Brothers - Harvest for the World0 -
How secure are these account aggregators and where does one stand with getting money back from banks if victim of online fraud and using one?
For example, first direct's own terms and conditions say you will NOT be re-imbursed if you are using any other account aggregator apart from their own. This was in their terms and conditions when i opened account a few weeeks ago....
I don't use one- mainly because i also use a mac and it doesn't work0 -

This is what the supplier eWise say on their website :-Security is a priority"Security is ensured by using the patented eWise Digital Safe, which features advanced industry standard algorithms and protocols to protect customers. Only the eWise engine can unlock this, using the correct decryption key from the service provider. The key is also unique to the physical PC or user device and will not be released to an unauthorised device. The Digital Safe is encrypted using a 168 bit, three key triple- DES algorithm, and the transmission of the key between the eWise servers and the user's PC is encrypted using Application Level Encryption over 128 bit SSL."
The application has been developed/tested in conjunction with APACS. I hope that this helps.
I do agree that many T&Cs seem to argue against using it - but they would - wouldn't they ? As most of them don't have it !
p.s. The much bigger risk (in my opinion) is that of not having adequate anti-spyware/virus software installed generally,0 -
If the eWise / FD / EMM solutions don't work in Firefox, does anyone know of anything similar that might? :-)
