As mentioned most non genuine parts are simply lacking the 'logo' gates make a good 90% of all belts these days and as for your other parts they to are probably made for ford anyway.

Re, the pulley you say its broken in 3 places.???? sounds like they had to use a three leg puller to get it off. even if they did its still quite possible IMHO that this is just one of those things that happens when you try to get pulleys off.

Definitely thou you should get money back for the parts if you were charged for genuine and didn't get them.

I read in a different forum where members where bit iffy about Gates and they were recommending only original parts from Ford. They mentioned Gates cambelt kit a lot cheaper than Ford's one.

Don't get hung up on the use of Gates belts, they are generally well regarded. Some years ago i worked for a large govt dept with a large vehicle fleet and we would often use Gates belt/kits.I fitted a cam belt to one of my cars last month and specifically bought a gates belt to replace the previously fitted one.

i worked at a vauxhall dealers and they often used unipart items which imo are sub standard compard to genuine so it happens at dealers

i dont think the gates will give you any trouble, theres enough of them around, but i would expect a ford item if id taken it to the ford dealer unless i was offered a cheaper option
