I have a friend who is on amitriptyline. Does it make you drowzy? My friend is like a zombie when she's on it.lol.
Oh gosh, yes. Just imagine losing your teeth. Eek. That wouldn't be good.
That reminds me. Two more weeks and I get my braces off.

Well, I'll tell you a secret as long as you dont tell my doc or the psychotherapist - I haven't actually gone up to the full dose that I'm supposed to take - I don't want to be a zombie! I'm taking a lower dose but will up it slowly till I get zombified and then I will stop! To tell you the truth, I'm a bit scared of taking a high dose as anyone I know on amitriptyline ends up like a zombie - is your friend a happy zombie?:rotfl:KEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

My friend looks like a stoned zombie. :rotfl:
I think it's a good thing to increase gradually as you don't want to be hit hard by suddenly taking a higher dose.lol.

Exactly! But I see the pyscotherapist Monday so will have to explain to her. She has been on holiday last week, it was great, no appointment with her, I felt like I was on holiday myself, especially as I had the use of a car for that week.
Anyway, I must go to bed now, hopefully for a good night's sleep
Nite nite Lady M, it's lovely to talk to you, keep safe xxxKEEP CALM AND keep taking the tablets :cool2:0 -

Thanks:)
My back also hurts. Someone at work has been telling me to get a bike, so I can ride to work instead of walking. So I did. And you know how everyone always says you never forget how to ride a bike? They lie! I managed to fall off in front of a load of people at the bus stop.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

I haven't taken anything specially for my back, but I'm on load of painkillers anyway.
I was more annoyed, because a guy I work with was there. He always has to come and say hello to me every time he sees me (and I mean every time. If I walk past him to get something and walk back, that is 2 occasions) so he liked having an excuse to come over and see how I was. There's also rumours now going round work that we're going out. I'm not even sure if that made any sense.
It didn't hurt much at the time, but after a few hours it really did!
I'm still riding to work again tomorrow, though. It's quicker.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
