Looks like it could be another lovely day today, hubbys not working so he'll finish off the alterations to the garden.
It looks like I've got my sewing job, the lady also suggested I made my own bags & sold them, she's quite happy for me to copy her designs as she is looking to get big orders for her bags from shops. There is no guarentee of regular work until this happens, at the moment they just want enough bags to sell at craft fairs etc.
    Hugs to those in need.
    Have a good day.

Good Morning All, thought I'd try to post before school if possible!
One of my dogs decided he didn't want to come on the walk this morning and turned back whilst we were going round the field! However, I did manage to catch him again and dragged him (swearing under his breath!) all the way round on our normal walk. Get within sight of home and suddenly he perks up, tail wagging and trots happily along again! Gggrrh!
JackieO I hope the rtherapy goes by quickly now for you.
Redruby, that sounds like an exciting course! Poor lad, what a shock for him.
SquigglyDiddly - I'd love a new bathroom, hope yours gets finished quickly.
Love and ((HUGS)) to all who need them today. Must get a shift on now or I'll be late!

Nothing exciting been happening here over the last few days. Work this morning and then home to our hairdresser who comes round to us and then must make a dent in the ironing mountain.

Anyone watch Big Brother last night? I didn't. First time last year that I couldnt get into it at all. Am I getting too old for it or have I come to my senses at last??? lol I will probably have a peek today to see what kind of people they have put in there this year though.

Have a good day everyone - must remember to take a brolly to work cos they say its gonna rain - lovely start to the weekend

    Morning all,
I had a busy day at the house to let yesterday, hung the last 2 pairs of HM curtains, mowed the lawn, took ages with my gammy arm, weeded, and steam cleaned upholstry. I need to keep busy at the moment. Had 3 viewings and 1 looks promising.

Will put preservative on the shed today. Must shop for the weekend, haven't been shopping/spending for a week. Money saved.

Had a lovely chat with DB1 but couldn't tell him about DB2's Melanoma as he has sworn me to secrecy. Phoned my Mum and felt bad when she talked of them, I hate having to keep the secret, hope she forgives me when she finds out about DB2's Melanoma. DH and I hope to visit DB1 in Spain as he is having a huge party in a couple of weeks and has invited us for a week. We went over last Sept and had a great time. Hope to go to Dartmouth and see DB2 next weekend.

Good news is that we haven't heard from Sis, can do without her hastle. There's a pile of bills at the house addressed to her, another reason for no forwarding address. Thankfully we are not responsible for them.

Huge, Huge Hugs to so many of you. xx

 Hi everyone, hope you have a good day. Hugs for those that need them. I've just got into work to find all of our students in  as it's deadline day for them. Dr Jeckyll is AWOL, but I think they prefer it that way :). They haven't been home all night and they all look shattered. OH finally repaired my bike yesterday (it's been locked at his work for two weeks as he did something to the wheel  ). I'm invigilating again this morning (probably the last one as the finals are nearly over, still some prelims to go, but I don't know if they'll need me). We had lentil dahl for tea last night and will have the same again tonight as I made too much.

N9eav - have a good time at the show
    weeping river - well done!
redruby - that's scary, he was probably in the best place when it happened though. The only one I've ever seen was when I was teaching and the by-standers were horrible. I think it is one of the few times I have ever raised my voice. I had get one neurotic woman frog-marched out of the office as she was more trouble than the causalty.
anniestar - hope Phoebe is okay - i think taping hereat is a great idea
    Bethebee - hugs for you
catowen - well done on the childminding :)
essex-girl - hope your eye is okay
JackieO - Have a great time in Norfolk :o
Hester - well done on your sewing job
moliere - hope your cold gets better
lynseyann - best of luck for your DD's skipping today.

Right , I have to go and do some work then go and find my student, hope you have a good day! cel x

    Morning Everyone

Didn't get chance to post yesterday. I went to a funeral of a Great Aunt she was 87 and had been housebound with a stroke for 27 years. It was so interesting getting togerther with all my dads cousins. We ended up comparing photos and deciding whos children and grandchildren look like the older generation. One of my dads cousins son looks the splitting image of my grandad its freaky.

Plans for today are to get my house clean and tidy for the weekend also want to do a meal plan. We are feeding a neighbours fish for 2 weeks from today and dd can't wait. Its pizza for tea followed by strawberries and icecream.

    Have a good day everyone

Hugs to all who need one . JAYWARD sorry to hear your news, CANDYGIRL hugs to you too. BETH make sure you get some rest!

Not a lot of old-style going on here. Just feel so tired. Have done some weeding at the allotment and a bit of studying and that's about it. These tablets are making me sleepy, so I shall be taking them at night instead. Yesterday I took DS to the park after school to see some friends which was good.

Today I need to go shopping for a present for my FIL and MIL as we have been invited to FIL 70th birthday over the weekend. I volunteered to take dessert with me, so will probably go to Iceland to see what they've got, usually I would make everything. Also need to go to the farmshop.

    Must get organised.

    Have a good day all.
