i thought the policy changed some time ago so if you do not have a receipt you cannot get a refund on to gift card but can only exchange? thats how it is round by me anyway...

I've had both from SA's in my local, so guess it depends on the SA you go to? Although I am sure the policy did change. CS will back it going onto a gift card due to the fact that that the OP was misled etc. CS actually agree with anything you want aslong as it is half reasonable.

This is what I bought too to get my GWP. I only bought 2 of them cos they were BOGOF, even tho' the SA said rather pointedly 'You DO know these are buy one get one free dont you?' LOL so I just smiled with my money saving buddies words echoing in my ears and said yup but thats fine. :rotfl:

I couldnt even see the sunkissed thing either.

Hmm this is interesting as I was wondering how long a good nail varnish should last and more importantly, what should it be able to withstand? Washing up by hand? Getting coins out of a purse? Typing surely! :rotfl:

I am wearing the Stay Perfect in Salsa, which is a wonderful juicy red colour with shimmery bits. Fair to say I love the colour, but it's chipped already. Only put it on yesterday afternoon - two coats, dried properly inbetween. I also thought it must be me being too rough with them.
Mind you, if I had used a base coat and a top coat (like the pro's) would I now be whining? Maybe not. We got any beauticians in the house? :D

Also those Colour Miracle ones are supposed to slightly change colour when clear varnish is applied over the top yeah? Well I tried the sample out of the GWP and I couldn't see any difference at all.

I have got a few of the Stay Perfect nail varnishes, I always apply a base coat, purely because it makes it 10x easier for it to come off. However it still chipped within a day. With a top coat on however in a way it locks the colour in and it seems to stay chip free for longer. Also read somewhere the other day, might have been boots mag, might be wrong. Anyway advert for No7 nail varnishes and i'm sure it said always apply top coat for best results.

Skibster - you're lucky with the giftcard IMO, as when I tried to return something without a receipt (have too many to look through as well :p ) she told me they don't do giftcards if you have no receipt. You have to exchange it for something there and then of a similar value. I could see this was not going to work for me as I had coupons to use with my purchase, so have left the return for another day. Perhaps I should try a different store :D .

    Poundsinbucks x ;)

Heck, I didn't even think that she might not give me a giftcard -- I grabbed one off the shelf and tossed it in my basket, saying that I wasn't spending enough so would need the rest on a giftcard. Sheesh, it didn't occur to me she might decline! Now that I think of it, the times I got money put back on a giftcard was when I used a Pigsback voucher, so maybe they aren't supposed to do that on a return? If that's true, tossing in the giftcard may have had something to do with her attitude! Oops!

Last wednesday at Gatick airport I spent 10.58 of which 5 was a t-mobile top-up. However I did not get a voucher for fragrance.
    - is it for a 10 spend?
    - is it a till spit? or a voucher?
    - should I call CS and complain?

    TIA for your input.

Spend £10 in store and get a voucher for £5 off Fragrances: davidoff calvin klien lacoste dunhill givenchy ralph lauren emporio armarni kylie Valid until 5/7
Davidoff Cool Water Wave Eau De Toilette 30ml - £5.50
    CKin2U 20ml £7.50

Well to be honest I was hoping the gradual colour would be a bit erm, less, shall we say gradual! Mine is non existant so it must be a very small amount of self tan. I usually use a tan maintainer but my current one smelled like biscuits? So I had high hopes for this. Has anyone else noticed a gradual tan developing? As for the firming I reckon my wobbly bits are here to stay so you're not alone there dotchas! :rotfl:

Hi guys I was really looking forward to going to boots today I was going to get the 342 mens no and gwp plus nail varnish. The mens stuff was going to be for my dad for fathers day. Anyway when I got to the till I put my items down and before the SA even scanned any of them she looks at the GWP and say you would have only spent £12 you cant have this, even though I had a no7 nail varnish in aswell. I said well does this not count and she said no, so I said well it says all no7 products and the SA said no its only included on the mens stuff if you want the GWP. Well i went back and looked at the sign and I was right. I said to the SA well Ill be back in a minute as its not for me its for OH ill ask what he wants. IN the end I just walked out and didnt go back.

This put me off as havent some people been getting the GWP despite only spending £12ish pound? Theres loads of things I want in no7 and now im put off.

    Sorry for moaning xx
