Last wednesday at Gatick airport I spent 10.58 of which 5 was a t-mobile top-up. However I did not get a voucher for fragrance.
    - is it for a 10 spend?
    - is it a till spit? or a voucher?
    - should I call CS and complain?
It's an old style voucher, like this one - click - not my listing btw! :o And yes it is on a £10 spend. I would give CS a call, they should be able to check via your AC number that you weren't given one on the transaction.

Well to be honest I was hoping the gradual colour would be a bit erm, less, shall we say gradual! Mine is non existant so it must be a very small amount of self tan. I usually use a tan maintainer but my current one smelled like biscuits? So I had high hopes for this. Has anyone else noticed a gradual tan developing? As for the firming I reckon my wobbly bits are here to stay so you're not alone there dotchas! :rotfl:

Oh I hope it works as i just want to keep the colour I got on my holidays ,for a while anyway.
At least my wobbly bits are brown wobbly bits, for now :o
I used the No7 pre-holiday one for face and the one for body before I went away and the colour change was not noticeable day to day but I did have a slight colour for going away. One day I forgot to wash my hads and in between my fingers went brown! .I looked like I smoked 60 a day:rotfl:
It took a lot of scrubbing with NO7 hand saviour to get it to go!

Which did a survey of gradual and fake tans and the Nivea sunkissed one came out best for gradual tans IIRC.

I have one somewhere I got free for registering on a forum, might dig it out

  • p0426.jpg&w=190According to celebrity manicurist Marian Newman this is ‘THE BEST TOP COAT EVER!’ And we have to agree! Not only is it super glossy for a professional finish, but it is also touch dry in 45 seconds.

I swear by this stuff its my desert island product and it really does dry in 45 secs, it's a little pricey at £10 but it's money well worth spent. You can find it in Debenhams and House of Fraser, I don't think Boots stock it. Oh and I forgot to add that the gloss finish is bril and it does not peel or chip. This is for all you ladies who have probs with the No7 polishes chipping.

EDIT: Silly me i forgot to say it's called Nails Inc kensington caviar 45 second top coat.

Hi guys I was really looking forward to going to boots today I was going to get the 342 mens no and gwp plus nail varnish. The mens stuff was going to be for my dad for fathers day. Anyway when I got to the till I put my items down and before the SA even scanned any of them she looks at the GWP and say you would have only spent £12 you cant have this, even though I had a no7 nail varnish in aswell. I said well does this not count and she said no, so I said well it says all no7 products and the SA said no its only included on the mens stuff if you want the GWP. Well i went back and looked at the sign and I was right. I said to the SA well Ill be back in a minute as its not for me its for OH ill ask what he wants. IN the end I just walked out and didnt go back.

This put me off as havent some people been getting the GWP despite only spending £12ish pound? Theres loads of things I want in no7 and now im put off.

    Sorry for moaning xx

    ((hugs))
If I were you I would call or email CS and explain as that doesn't seem right, some SAs just make up the rules as they go along.Tell CS and they can educate their staff!
    Can you try another branch?
I have one branch locally that has very awkward SAs who won't even try things and refuse GWP when spending points etc. But other branches have lovely SAs.
Good luck ,don't let her put you off!

Aww hun that's awful, sleep on it and go back and try again. Did you use the No7 SA? if you did then I suggest you go to one of the normal SA's.

Managed to use my £5 voucher today towards a nail varnish, so paid £1.25 but thanks to the tip on here, I also used my 200 points recieved recently in letter.
So impressed I did it again with the 250 points from the GWP! I love when you are paid to take stuff away.

Motherwell still had the NC bags instore.

My mum finally got the free time delay product and from the same ACM she also got 100 points when you buy time delay, the lovely SA put then through together - lovely

That sounds like one seriously miserable SA! The ones here are lovely. Even if something wont work they are still nice about it. I got 2 tan maintainers which came to £10 total (BOGOF) and got the GWP easily. Procedures should be the same on all counters.

That is my local and to be honest I avoid the people working on the main tills on a Sunday if I can because several times I have had problems with them knowing what they are doing! Lack of training of weekend staff if you ask me (plus sometimes they seem more interested in talking than serving). I think you have been very unlucky because I have certainly got a few GWPs in there spending less than £20 with BOGOFs and vouchers and mixing men's and women's products.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience, don't let it put you off going to this shop in futute :)
