As far as i'm aware, Eau de toilette is a weaker spray perfume, so good for a spray a couple of times a day whereas eau de parfum is purer and you need less of it, it should also last longer on your skin. So a little goes a long way (well longer than eau de toilette!) Hope that helps!0

When I bought it the SA told me it wouldn't count towards the GWP because it was electrical. Is she wrong?
I can't answer your Q on perfume as I don't know either. LOL
However, if you look on Boots.com and enter the mirror (which is offer of the week byw) and something to tip it over £20 the GWP is automatically added to your basket.
I would be rather annoyed if I were you too. Good luck with CS, am pretty sure they will sort it out tho'.0 -

Almost forgot! Went Bootsing today to get the Glamour mag with the free lipgloss but shelf was empty. I asked an SA if he had any more lurking in the stock room and he came back with an armful.
I then carried on with my shopping, happened to walk past the Benefit counter and all the girls were huddled together trying to look into my basket from a distance. When I turned around to leave they all pointed and said "look it is!" (or something rather close to it). I think they might have been annoyed that they were losing sales because of it!0 -
I've bought the mirror too and was thinking the same about the light.
Do you think it would be ok to put a brighter bulb in it or would it melt the insides?
When I bought it the SA told me it wouldn't count towards the GWP because it was electrical. Is she wrong? It'll be another narked off phone call to CS tomorrow if I could have got one.
Slightly off topic, I got a perfume til spit today and whilst eyeing up Chanel (I know I can't use the till spit on it but no harm in looking!) I noticed there's eau de toilette and eau de parfam. What is the difference??? (please excuse my ignorance, I just don't know!)I was thinking of putting a brighter bulb in too but need to investigate how to take it apart. I think as long as it's not left on it should be ok...although DH has got a habit of putting it on for mood lighting in the bedroom !
I had a ( quick)look at the signs for the GWp today and I am sure ( please correct me if I am wrong ) it said free gift with £20 or more spend on 'all' No7..however i was looking at the sign whilst playing hide and seek with manager as reported in earlier post! This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. 1st shop
3 x Hackett wet look hair gel 29p each but on 342
Printer ink cartridge 88p
2 x Ted Baker minis mens EDT £1 each
Hackett Kit Bag 29p (yes 29p!!) :j
The SA was a new girl being supervised by another SA, I think she made a mistake putting the Kit Bag through at 29p. I did query it as I didn't want her to get into trouble but they both said that it was the right price, I think she typed in the price of the hair gel instead but I decided not to say any more :rotfl:
Kit Bag contains 50ml each of body spray, hair and body wash, shampoo/conditioner and a 40ml hair clay. Clearance sticker said £3.50 so not sure of original price.
2nd shop, remembered the sensitive skin PVC gloves as recommended by broclo in an earlier post, these are half price to HC members so only 84p to pay. I'm very impressed with them , thicker than ordinary rubber gloves, flock lined and seem built to last. Thanks broclo
3rd shop
S&G Jam Sessions £2.50
2 x Soltan Extreme sports suncream £1.63 and BOGOF
Hydro shaving foam 30p
NC Samphire&Sea minerals bath cream £1
NC GWP £0.00
4th shop
MF Lipfinity £2.12
Total spent £12.12 :j usual points, no vouchers.
Spotted the sign mentioned earlier for a voucher for a Med butter (think it was a mini) WYB 10 photo prints so I think this one must be nationwide.
DD went into town with a handful of No7 £5 vouchers......but she didn't spend any, said she had enough make-up and gave them to two ladies browsing the No7. Very proud of her :T
bunbun2 re: the No7 tinted moisturiser. I got a tube of the medium shade a few months ago, not very impressed as I was expecting a gel, it seems a bit dense for a moisturiser. I prefer no foundation at all in the summer, everything just slides off my face in the heat so I just stick to a moisturiser with sunscreen that will slide off invisibly :rotfl:
I am sooo jealous about the Hackett bag :rotfl: i saw that yesterday at £3.50 but well done to you for getting it for 29p:rotfl: they put out loads of reduced hackett stuff yesterday I got some body spray. Not that I need to buy any more I sorted all my men's stuff out today and have enough for OH's birthday and 3 Christmas hampers:rotfl:
did you get the jam session in the market place? if so they must have reduced it since yesterday cos it was £3.75.
I will try the moisturiser from the GWP and see what i think.
that was so kind of your DD to give her vouchers away. I gave one to a student in North road yesterday - she was so embarassed but I hope she used it:D
well done on such a great shop.saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
£60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j0 -

Ooh, I wondered about this but didn't have the guts to try it. There are other things like sponges etc for applying makeup, and the nail buffer sets, that are under £5... :whistle:Where's SK when we need her ??
