Which branch was that in? One of the Edinburgh ones I presume. I've had no trouble with these vouchers at Fort, Straiton or the Gyle, though every time it's had to be entered manualy.Val.0 -
Blodwin, I can symphatise with you! I tried to use a 350 washing/bathing ACM coupon today when buying the No7 Mens Face Wash (amongst other things!) and it beeped  . Turns out as the ACMs in my store are so rubbish at printing there was a number missing, so it wouldn't work. Was added manually in the end by manager, but held up Q for ages.
Will try again though as there are more vouchers to be used up.

I wonder if that'd explain why we didn't all get the email? And why they gave out such a generous offer with such limitless t&c's!!!0 -

Well done on persevering (sp?)! I gave up - had already had the manager over twice to sort the No7 voucher, so just didn't have the energy to ask again for someone to come and talk about the rights and wrongs of the wash and bathing voucher and the 250 cosmetic voucher - but am annoyed cos that was 600 points and was what made the No7 purchase worthwhile to me - serves my own right really for relying on the points to make a purchase worth it, but I did alright with points anyway today so shouldn't really complain.
I think I have just got so addicted to points collecting now that missing out on 600 points hurts  :eek:0 -

I don't see how it can be a scam if the vouchers are scanning in some stores - as this means the tills have been programmed to accept themWins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers...0 -

Good point!
Perhaps it's a scam by ABKW, and that's what he was hinting at the other night, and he programmed the code into the tills........:rotfl:

Thanks again.
Well the intelligent colour foundation is £13.75 on the website (and goodness knows how much instore, I think I paid about £12 last time I bought some so I hope its no more than £13.75) but I have the No 7 voucher for £5 off, I don't think I'll be buying any suncare as I have just got back from the only summer holiday I'm likly to get this year and we have plenty left and I have loads of fake tan that I never use. I probably won't be able to justify spending the rest this time, shame it isn't still a free gift for spending over £15!! However I might need a new mascara...............:)

The SA and whoever told her it was fake are numbskulls. I got the email from Boots, and if that was a faked email, it was more convincing than the scam ones ebay and paypal phishers send out (not to mention it scans or works when the code is punched in -- not something a fake would do!). Even though I limit calling CS to big things, that sounds like a big thing -- if they're insinuating that customers are using bogus coupons when those coupons came from Boots, CS needs to whack some sense into them.
At the very least, tell everyone what Boots you went to so that all the local Bootsers can bombard it with coupons before Saturday!0
