    Hi,

I have a spare fragrance £5 off voucher if anyone needs one.

    Thanks
Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

Alliance Boots, Britain's biggest pharmacy chain, reported a big rise in profits on Tuesday, partly thanks to strong sales of its popular No7 cosmetics line.

Thought this pertinent. Doesn't mention any thanks to Boots tarts, nor the glitches !

Finally managed to get a memory card today, reduced from 20 something pounds to £6.25, and got 500 pts and 200 pts (both acm) :T

    2nd shop

    No7 shave balm £6.00
    No7 mens h&b wash £6.00
    No7 shave gel £0
    No7 Tinted Moisturiser £4.50 (after £5 voucher)
No7 mens gwp (no 'normal' lady's gwp, old pink box but assume o/d coupon:confused: )
    T&G Model.me Helena conditioner £4.99
    T&G model.me Helena protection spray £5.99
    Botanics Exfoliator soap bar £1.50
    Botanics Baby wipes £2.75
    Pampers new baby £3.79
    Pampers changing bag £0

Used £5 internet voucher, £1 botanics voucher, 1/3 off botanics baby, pampers 75p coupon, model.me freebie acm voucher (no beeps!!!)

    Points vouchers
    Total spend acm 200
    'normal' points 96
    baby spend points 500
    botanics 100
    botanics baby 100
    mens no7 250

    Total spend £25.80
(till says total saving £49.96, inc's bag)
    Total points 1246

SA totally refused to take GWP cosmetics 250 points on tinted moisturiser (after it beeped), and also 350 points on washing and bathing (also a 'beep') :( Also had major problems with the printed voucher, so was at the till for about 20 minutes - tried to stand my ground but I was losing the will to live!! Didn't even bother going back to get more No7 with the internet voucher - couldn't bear to go through all that again.

Also got some stuff with points as I earned 1946 today -

Radox shower gel x2 (bogof) 162
    Nivea mens shave gel x 2 598
    Loreal shave foam 0
    NC strawberry scrub 150
    NC purse 0
    Sanctuary Lomi lomi butter 373

    1283 total (ouch!!)

In the Boots in Sheffield, Ted Baker travel size tolitetries were reduced to 50p from £2. They are on the actual shelf rather than on a specific reduced stand.

Hope this is the right place to post this!

The No7 assistant just told me this evening that the email voucher is a scam, they had been told not to take them this morning. She was very nice about it and said she would go and check with the manager again when I said I had, had the email from Boots then came back and said we could use them but I doubt I'll try there again.

If you don't want the 350pts bathing and med bogof in return I'll donate them to someone else to pass the generosity forward ;)

i have to hold my head in shame and admit i never shop in boots. I look at this post occasionally but its a bit long and confusing for me. (I'll stick with my Tesco i know what im doing in there) Thanks for the offer but please pass them onto someone else who can use them.

    Why don't I ever encounter SA's like that:confused: , it's not fair:rotfl: :rotfl:

Bit of a nightmare trip to Boots today. Plan was to go to Ilford to use ACM but got scuppered by traffic jam on North Circular and had to branch off up M11 to escape. Wasn't sure if Harlow had an ACM so decided to head to Enfield which definitely does.

For future trips, yes Harlow does have a ACM, quite a reliable one too. So does Bishops Strortford which isn't too far away.

No NC bags though and no Med GWP although there was on Saturday.

What they did have today though was a load of various baby products on special, mostly mini me, I think they're called. Probably got that wrong though, lol. Lots of little treat bags too in that range.

I bought a MAM manual breast pump for a fiver as my daughter is having baby number 2, grandchild number 6, in October.
