Wish I had a bed that we could put stuff under, ours has four drawers in and they are the biggest waste of space...... a good old fashioned iron bedstead would suit me fine if I could find a kingsize one, then I could put loads of boxes underneath..........
Its the stuff in the attic that concerns me, where the h--- am I going to put all that, its mostly photo albums and the like, I did start to put them on the computer on disc, but it was such a job scanning the damn things and then putting thwm into folders..... we must have over 1000 photos up there in various albums including one full of the pictures we took when we went to California for Christmas in 1992, now that WAS an experience........
Also have the boxes for various bits and bobs, i.e. the desk top computer, various kitchen appliances, my sewing machine christmas deccies the list goes on......plus last time we moved I had to pay for the packing cases so they are up there too collapsed down...... will be using them again

It was only after decluttering that I realised I had a bed with storage :eek:0 -

I used to have one of those storage divans and I agree that they're absolutely useless! Mind you, the fact I stuffed the drawers so full that the bottoms fell out didn't help much
I've got a pine bedstead now with just enough clearance to slide those plastic storage boxes underneath, which are also a godsend for keeping things clean and dust free, as well as being semi-transparent so you can actually see what's in them without having to open them"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

You guys should hold an MSE sale, I bet the bulk yoghurt maker you have for sale would be bought by an oldstyler, and whatever else is hiding in your cupboards
Just drag it along to the old style meet and you can have a swap and go :rotfl: and when you come home your OH will scream in despair after having been so hopeful that some stuff was leaving the house with you.... Me, I have spent the last week temping because of you people....The last month has bought me a yoghurt maker, iron (!), Ironing board (!) (never to be used of course), 10l vinegar, lots of bulk butcher meat and endless seeds to grow veggies. I am now broke! And the clutter is beginning

lmao at this thread. Didn't see the programme cos I was away.
Divadee- I have a suggestion for you- if you like cleaning, why not set up your own business cleaning other peoples homes. You could work hours to suit Miss Divadees school hours and maybe take her with you in the hols (depending on clients and assumming she won't mess everywhere up!).0 -

A 28 yr old spent 16 hours one day doing a 'deep clean'.... divadee would be embarrassed
And in the aftermath ... one woman tried to deck the other

Do you know where I can get storage boxes with lids at a reasonable price?"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
