    With regards to the OP, if your child is diabetic (presumably on insulin), then he needs to take very urgent action should he not be able to keep food down. As we aren't supposed to give medical advice, I will just say please go to your GP to discuss exactly what to do.
    Normal advice for dodgy tummies for people who aren't on insulin does not apply when you are insulin dependent. I would ensure you have all the info at hand before you go.
    I expect you already know the measures to take should your child become ill in the UK, and obviously that would involve NOT stopping insulin and going to hospital asap if he can't keep anything down but that isn't as easy in a foreign country.
