Hey Delly - ouch about the fee increase  I hope you can manage a holiday, let us know the minute you've booked something!

Thanks missyg - yep, the fee increase thing is a pain and I'm  that I have to take him out of a creche where he's settled, well looked after and happy but we just can't afford the increase. It puts us from being comfortable to being hand to mouth for a few months so it just has to go...it is working out ok in the long run so i'm getting over it.

As for the holiday. My friend has a place in Spain she lets out to friends and family for about £250 p/w. She's hinted that I can have it off peak for a reduced rate (even £200 would be good) and we can get flights for the 3 of us on Jet2 for about £250... Imagine, a week in Spain in september for £450 for 3. OH is going to i34 gaming thingy in August so I have to see how that goes first and see what kind of discount I can persuade my friend to give me.... let you know if I book it.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
  • im going to i34 in August, with my Battlefield 2/Call of Duty 4 Clan.

i also play World of Warcraft - say hi to him for me :-D

or send me a PM and ill give you our clan website, might say hi to him while im there! lol

BUT - as you've said yourself, you can get accustomed to any plan and fudge about on it. I think I need a change and SW is my only other alternative. Besides OH needs to lose about a stone and a half and the thought of red days appeal to him, this way we can work on it together.

.........I think it's a good idea hun, as you probably guessed. You were just so set.

Welcome bindiboo! Best of luck with your weight loss!

World of Warcraft! LOL! That takes me back to my uni days when some of my mates HAD TO LEAVE at a certain time on certain days to get home in time for their clan meetings/practice sessions :rotfl:

*phew* I'm exhausted! After working with 1-6 year olds all day I [strike]stupidly [/strike] wisely decided to get some packing done for my temporary move back to the UK in a couple of weeks.

In a very MSE fashion I am shipping my excess luggage - however the downside to this is that everything has to be wrapped up in bubble wrap/plastic bags to prevent water damage! I've finished two large boxes - one is 15kilos the second is 20 kilos  I think I have at least one more box of stuff to pack - possibly two (depending on the amount of clothes I decide to keep). I hate packing! It's so tedious!

    Roll on the weekend!

Good luck to everyone weighing in tomorrow!

I have my fingers crossed as a loss since I've been healthy the past week. Theres nothing worse than a gain when you've been good  evil virus

  • from my exercise point of view.

i am alternating days between exercise bike and weights, but i tend to go walking at a lunch time too.

is there anything else i can do?

and leave World of Warcraft alone - has helped me during many a lonely night! lololol
  • Hi everyone - hope you're all well.

Welcome to all the newcomers - you'll get some really good advice and support on here so you've come to the right place. I don't manage to post often but I try to read through the posts every now and again to keep up!

Well done to all the losers and maintainers, big hugs to the gainers.

I am absolutely chuffed to bits to report a 1lb loss this week which means I got my 2 stone award last night :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j . I also got slimmer of the week. Its roughly my half way mark but is what I realisticlly (is that how you spell it?) wanted to lose before my brother's wedding on 19th July. I'm so happy and it had motivated me to carry on. I can now say I've lost stones instead on 1 stone something :j :j :j :j :j .

    Love

I actually went to uni with characters like that! And yes, I did do a nerdy degree before anyone starts accusing me - I was the only girl on the course!
