I have it on good authority that the Czech republic only won because the Swiss should have had 2 penalties, we hit the bar, lost our captain after 44 minutes... we wuz robbed! Bl**dy referee!!

p.s. just to get back on topic, I'm struggling to work out my calories for today - DH and I were out and discovered a gastro pub (number 15 in the top 50 apparently) where we had lunch. I had a lovely dish of pasta linguine with pine nuts, mint and parmesan, and a rocket salad, which was gorgeous, but unfortunately was obviously well adorned with olive oil. Yummy though!Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -
Geez, spent the last hour in a bedroom working up a sweat! (now now, its not what you think
) - clearing out the wardrobes can be a bit phyical to be honest... I think I am a little late for gym tonight so will continue doing this.....
So far cleared out 4 black bin bags full of the old rags I used to wear, going to keep a pair of Jeans to 'remind' of my old ways. Never noticed some new t-shirts that I not worn for a while!
Jeans - old ones chucked out are the 42' waist ones as they come down without a belt on now... so going though a pile of 40' ones now... I still have a 4-5 pairs of 38' and 36' ones from the last time I lost weight (so I am keeping those to work to as a target) everytime I drop a size the remining will be off to Charity bins.
Now I got the space, I shall be filling up again with new clothes that shall fit me when I hit my target weight - is that a good idea? It's hard to find the balance when you are love.
You're lost in the middle cause you have to decide between mind & heart.
Heart is the engine of your body but brain is the engine of life.

It's a great idea! Another is to put some money away for each lb you lose, i.e £1 or £2 or whatever you want.
So when you get to your target weight you will have money saved for new clothes
Also housework is great for raising a sweat and burning calories.

Czech keeper - Cech, he's the Chelsea keeper, there's also a Southampton player and a Reading player in the czech side but not sure if they played today
Senderos and Djourou (Swiss) both play for Arsenal0 -

I'm not sure it's a good idea to stock up on too many 'target weight' clothes in advance, just in case your weight loss is faster or slower than you expect and you end up with summer clothes in winter, or vice versa
Also, wouldn't it be difficult to anticipate what a good 'fit' will be, even if it's in your predicted size?
I'd wait if it was me, just my opinion thoughWell done on the sort out by the way, great job!

Leo - agree totally with raph, start saving a bit now towards your new wardrobe, I got a savings pot for xmas from a friend (you know the ones you have to smash to get into) and I've been putting £2 coins in there everytime I get one, it weighs a ton but at least I know that there's plenty of cash in there for when I get to where I want to be, and the money I've got from Quidco is going to pay for nice treats along the way, manicure, facial, haircut etc as I achieve each milestone, I know I could use it for clearing debts but my weight loss is more important at the mo and it helps as an incentive.
At the end of the day you have to do whatever is best for you, just don't put too much pressure on yourself to start with and don't beat yourself up about it if you do have a bad day, we all have bad days.0 -
