RAPH - noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! It is sooooooooooooooooooooooo innacurate to measure like that. I would bet my mothers house youre not 40DD. Infact, im going to check it and see what it says i am and if its right.
Also raph, now this might be me being a pear shape, but my hips are 42 inches, and my thigh is 24, and i wear a 32 bra. So unless youre an apple there is something dodgy with that 40DD bra size already. What size top do you wear if you dont mind me asking?
Aw nuts!
I'm more of a square really! :rotfl: At the moment I wear a size 20 or 22 top.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Me too PinkLipgloss! Actually when we first met my hubby used to be told all the time that he looked like Morten. Peeed him off big time as he was a psychobilly like me (still fancied Morten though!).
tagz!
I'm super jealous!
My OH is, in my humble opinion, an extremely handsome guy - however he is Japanese so he looks absolutely NOTHING like Morten :rotfl:
I found some great veggie recipe links on the "Money Saving Old Style" thread that I plan to try out this week. I've been eating way too many carbs recently (being a veggie I tend to resort to eating pasta a lot). Hopefully I won't blow the kitchen up in the process (I'm not too great in the kitchen).
Well done to everyone who has posted losses up. I hope to being doing the same on Wednesday.
It's quite a nice day today - I might go out for a cycle....."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Right, all the teams have gone now. Actually, only 3 went but as the last one was Spain Ive given it to victory whether she wants it or not.

Heading to bed shortly.

Thought I'd add (incase it helps)...my sports 'shock absorber' top is a size 18, as I purposely wanted something that was very tight for extra support. I had difficulty getting it on and off when I first joined the gym in Feb, now I can feel it getting looser, and there was definite wobblage (Easy boys:D) yesterday at the gym.

I've been thinking of having a couple of veggy meals during the week, as meat is getting so expensive and I'll be able to spread it out further. Thing is I always have either fish or meat, so I'm clueless as to dinners without!

This is the complete cooking collection, if you scroll to the bottom (its in alphabetical order) there is a whole section on vegetarian cooking.
HTH:D
Raph - above are the great links I got from the Money Saving Old Style thread!"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
Oh all the teams are gone, does that mean I can be a cheerleader for everyone? I don't normally give a fig about football (as Ajax knows!) but I'd like to be a cheerleader, only don't ask me to jump up and down. I am not going to exactly say what my bust measures, but I tried out that online bra calculator and it won't give me any 'size' It says 'I am off the scale.' Great, nothing like building up my confidence, expecially after a 3 yr old told me on Thursday (at school) "your bum is so big it won't fit in a car". Kids say the nicest things!
Anyhow, not to worry, I needed a kick start, I haven't even stepped back on the wii fit, 'cos I know the line (for weight gain) is going to go up, up, up. But I'll do it in secret and start afresh!
Sound like I'm moaning, but I'm not, honestly, I feel great- the suns out and it looks gorgeous - have a brill Sunday everyone. Now, what am I going to cook for dinner .....If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -

Morning all!
I lost the holiday I wantedThe accomm didn't get back in time so I couldn't get the ferry I needed, and the rest of the rather complicated itinerary has crumbled down around my ears... but at least I'm only back to square one and haven't lost any money
I'm fine about it, I'll get working on an alternative and make it just as good.
The weight loss has gone the same way - I was 3lb heavier on the scales this morning than I was at Monday's weigh in - where I was just 0.5lb away from my mini goal! - so there is no chance of a loss/STS tomorrow. I really don't deserve that, I've been on a 1400/day pace all week.
I've therefore decided to take today OFF from dieting, within reason, allow myself a few little goodies and start back tomorrow on a strict 1200/day pace for however long it takes. I tried the higher (1400) calories for 3 weeks and I'm heavier now than when I started.... :rotfl: I will get there though. I just hope it happens before my hols!
Oooh Raph it's you v me today in the footieJudging by how my day has gone so far I'm not holding out any hope :rotfl: Erlqueen, might have to organise a little side-deal when Austria meets Germany as there are doing Austria v Germany in the ski jumping as a "friendly" that day too
Bargain babe what about being a ref? It could get rough around here
Oh NOWWWWW the accommodation confirms my booking!!!!!! *runs to see if there's any cabin, or even a broom cupboard left on that ferry*0 -
Sorry to hear about your booking probs missyg, hope you manage to get something sorted soon.
I'm sure the bra measurement thingy doesn't work either cos' according to that I'm a 46C but a 40D is what I usually wear.
Just amazed myself in demonstrating a forward roll to my dd (7, and can't seem to bend her back enough to roll) haven't done one of those for years, couldn't get off the floor for laughing tho' (I'm 38 and not the smallest of people). Did a few more afterwards just to prove it wasn't a fluke. Anybody else wanna try?
Ajax, thanks for the parallel uni comment, that made me chuckle, reading it back it did seem quite bizarre but I did say I liked my footy.0 -
Bargain b -lovely to read you very positive attitude. Well done you.
Raph - I love meat /fish too and find it hard to have meals without. But on the plus side, my veg quota has increased a lot over the last year and my meat portions a little smaller. Operation using local shops is going well and I'm going to try and empty my freezer now before doing a restock. Going to try a veggie side dish tonight call 'imam byaldi' or 'the preist faints' I think it is turkish and involves an aubergine.
I've done a mid week wi and have put a lb on after our day out on friday which is no suprise and i am quit happy with (that is not an offical weigh in Lois)So my goal now is to lose it by wed and achieve a sts. We got straight back on plan yesterday. We definitely eat more interesting food on this plan, even more so since mr bb joined me on sw as I have had to get creative and plundered more recipe books.
Brightidea -it's been great to read how chuffed you are with ww points system. When you find something that works for you it makes life much easier. That's what is great about the variety on here - peeps like missy love the challenge of the cal counting; raph is having great sucess with healthy eating'/portion control and actively not getting to into counting or weighing and I lurve sw and othere RC and some lower carbs.
How's the headache today wendy? - you have my total sympathy as I've had a week of migraines too and it's very draining and life repressing.
Missy - sorry I missed the photo but well done for putting it up however briefly:T .
FFM - it's me vs you in the footie tomorrow then:j .I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
