Procrastinator, you don't have to say goodbye and good luck, you should continue to post on this thread and just see how things go, maybe if you don't put yourself under too much pressure then I'm sure it will just happen for you. I used to always give up because I couldn't see anything happening, usually by the end of of my 3rd week I would have lost a lb overall, got disheartened and given up. This time (for the first time ever) I have joined WW online and although I am not always sticking to my points plan it's still coming off but the big difference this time is that if things don't go fab, I don't get depressed about it, I just get back on track the following day or the day after.
Please stay with us, and don't give up. I can't see you on the chart, so why not join the 5lb challenge today and try it for the month.0 -

Ryan has always been in a wheelchair and in April he had an op to lengthen the tendons in his legs to increase his flexibility and to stop him being in pain. The op was never intended to help him become mobile just make things easier for him as he grows. Since having the plaster casts removed he has put up with very intensive physio daily and has remained happy throughout.
Today was his school Sports Day, he made me cry.......

My son was finally diganosed with Adhd and learning diffculties and is now on a low dose of ritilyn which makes a big difference through the day so much so that he now attends school 3 days a week , nightimes are still a nightmare though as he still doesnt sleep and can sometimes go 48hrs without closing his eyes but even so things are still so much better so thats the main thing.

Laine - that's a fantastic loss ,well done. The monthly 5lb challenge is just that - aiming to lose 5lbs a month. If you want to be formally included on our chart, just post here and say you want to be included and post you wi result in big boldhighlights once a week and I'll add to the chart. Chart is closed 6pm ish ever wed. However you have just met the challenge in your first week:rotfl: :T . But stick with us.
Really please you have some help with your son too.
Procrastinator - you are so welcome to stay with us if we can help support you in any way. And some of our members have chosen not to be on the chart. The chart has got so large, that I've 'hidden' names of peeps who haven't posted a wi for several weeks or posted for the new month restart. I can easily 'unhide' your name again.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Bright idea - your son ryan is so cute - I can see why you are so proud - that is amazing mobility considering he has just got weight bearing again!
Well done everybody - I will be losing weight next week - if I put it in writing I will have to!!
Lainie - that is amazing weight loss - you did miss me in your email but I only sts so it doesn't matter at all.

I have my Race for Life on Sunday so fingers crossed!!

Well done everyone losing and maintaining, and also gaining - because all of you knoew where it had come from and how you were getting rid of it.
don't go procrastinator! where else could you find a list of willy colours? There's a tea colour chart kicking around the office, i will never look at it in the same light again. v happy tonight as I've had a mail order enquiry on website, which, if it comes off, will be a £80 sale! Biggest single sale yet!
plg, are there any paper wedding pics? enquiring minds would like to see them please . . . just mad ethe mistake of reading nigel slaters real food that i borrowed off one of our chefs. His descriptions of mashed potatoes would make you weep.0 -
Hiya
Thanks for the chart BB, and well done to everybody. Has anyone noticed the fantastic number that's at the bottom of the total weight loss column?
1500 lbs!
What an amazing achievement!
Procrastinator - please stay, I need the company of another non-loser.It's easy to think that everyone is successfully losing weight every, or most weeks, and it's also easy to miss those of us who aren't having the same success so that you feel like you're the only one. The way I look at it, staying the same is a good thing compared with giving up as I know I'd just keep gaining every week if I did. (((hugs)))
Lainie - welcome back, and well done, you've made a great start.
*Bright-idea* - thanks for sharing your son's success with us, you are right to be so proud.
I'm sure there are other people I was going to mention, but I'm being distracted by the TV!
Early start for me in the morning - I'm going to the hospital with DH for his follow up appointment with the surgeon. He's doing really well, although still has days when he overdoes it and then regrets it the following day!
Have a good day everyone.

Today I did
2000m on rower
10 km on the cycle L6 (about 20 mins)
Jog 7.5km for 25 mins
Plus weights!!
Thats my new routine after my review, it's getting hard now!
That's great - well done. I assume you mean jog 7.5km/h for 25 mins (not achieving the full 7.5km in 25 mins!)0 -
Hi again all,
Welcome Lainie congrats on starting again, that can be one of the hardest decisions.
Bright Idea - I don't know Ryan and I was crying!! (yes I'm a soppy moo!!) he reminded me of some of the kids I volunteered with at a local residential school.
I've had a v.busy day today starting this morning with a trip to the docs to have a cortisone injection in my wrist (I had my eyes firmly averted when the needle came near me!). This has left me with a tender wrist all day, but didn't spoil me going shopping.
I've shopped my feet off clocking up 22615 steps on my pedometer since 8am! Went to Brent Cross and was wandering round and Martin Lewis himself was recording something downstairs from us, tried to take a pic but someone got in the way grrrr.
Anyways treated myself and got fitted at Rigby and Pellers and bought myself a bra for a wedding we're going to next month.
Got back to my friends to pick up my car with just enough time to get to RC class and I can proudly report a 3lb loss this week:j.
Thanks for the chart thee are some great losses there this week, congrats to our Sotw and those that narrowly missed out !
OOh I fogot my one purchase that I really wanted and got today was a pair of FITFLOPs (a workout while you're walking apparently) and I can feel some difference in the way they make me walk, gonna put them to some good use over the summer while the weather is too warm for my MBTs.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0 -
Sorry I'm late for this week - I've just got back from visiting at the hospital.
My loss this week is just 0.5lb but it's better than I expected as most nights I'm not eating until 10pm.
Well done all the losers, and STS - and don't get disheartened everyone else.
Ryan was fantastic - thanks for sharing that clip.
