Received a letter from the tsb today just telling me that my dd has been cancelled. Now on the letter it says if you are having difficulties contact us. Would it be worth faxing a letter and my soa (£600 deficit with unsecured stuff) or leave it?

Depends when you're planning to go BR.. if soon i'd ignore it but if it's not for a while yet then yeah, send them a copy of your SoA and say that you would appreciate a couple of months to try and sort things out as you are currently taking advice or something along those lines ... they'll probably say no :)

won't be going bankrupt for as long as possible in order to save for deposits and fees etc. I'll put something about debtline and include my soa, they can't do anymore then they already have as its unsecured.

So far no letters from any of my credit cards and 1 hasn't added any charges even tho i'ev not paid anything and the interest has taken me over my limit!

well have sent off letters to my cc's today recorded delivery so we'll see how that goes, I don't want to write to nr or welcome finance just in case it gives them a heads up as to whats going to happen!!

I must say Virgin are very snappy with missed payments, 1st one ever and they have referred it to global vantedge, anybody heard of them? its for £33 and says if i won't pay they will ring my basically and if i don't they will put something nasty on my credit history.

Had a message on my phone from welcome but won't be ringing them either. Now its sort of happening I'm worried that I'm doing the wrong thing (soa and debtline say other) just the start i suppose but pregnancy hormones don't help!!

K, it doesn't matter what they put on your credit file now as the BR on it will frump everything when it happens. You can't get much worse than BR on your file..

(((hugs))) hope the pregnancy is going well.

ref preg - had a few scares but all is ok now.

I know rationally speaking they can do diddly squat to hurt us as we want br anyway and the worst is repossession and we'll be long gone by then into a better and cheaper home!!

tbh I'm just shocked at how quick virgin have started and i've even rung national debtline just to make sure that what we've done is right!!

It will be £50 that the OR will take. An IPA doesn't kick in till you have a surplus of £100, then the OR takes 50%. So if you had £99 surplus no IPA and the money is yours to keep.Hope that makes sense.

Have you posted up your SOA? I'm sorry I can't remember.
