    Morning all

Not much flying done yet. Kitchen is pretty straight bust breakfast dishes to do. Lounge is ok just a quick dush and hoover.

Have done 3 ebay parcels - my gosh now I remember why I hate ebaying, may have to buggy them to the PO though. All my other items now have bids but thankfully 2 of them are colletion only;) .

DUSTY & LIL_ME - I bought some of the bach rescue remedy the premixed one in spray form but it just says 2 squirts on your tongue, not how often. Do you think 2 1/2 hour before test will be ok or should I start taking it now so I have a build up. It actually tastes a bit like whiskey to me:confused: .

DD2 at lunch club today so will need to set off at 11.15, actually may do 11 and pop to PO with these parcels.

Had to take DD1 ear drops to the office today and ask if they will give them to her at lunchtime. Last time I popped in and did them but she got so upset when she had to go back to class. They had to check because ears are classed as "internal" but class assistant is happy to do it. This seems bonkers to me, its putting 3 drops in her ear, not anything to do with her girly bits:confused: , what is the difference before putting a spoon in her mouth and drops in her ear?

HHC for me (bit late but better late than never;) )

    Thanks for nooo fred pigpen!
I'm in again this week, thanks for all the good holiday wishes last week, we had a good(ish) time despite the bad weather. I prefer damp or dull to sunny - but we had some sun as well as storm which was rather nice. Trouble is we realised that on the 8th stay in that area we are starting to find it too familiar and things are no longer quite as exciting as they were in the early years, so thinking of going somewhere completely new next year.

On the plus side, now I am back the house is pretty tidy! After initial cat puddles and plops to clean up (those upstairs that my dad missed when he was over here feeding the rascals - they only do this when unsettled) on Saturday when we got back, and the laundry loads I have been doing to catch up with the holiday laundry, all is pretty tidy so today should be quite easy, plus the PC desk in my bedroom is always missed out so is much needed to be primped.

    Here's my pre-hols list updated:

[strike]vacuum all around one last time
    wash kitchen bin
    empty bathroom bin[/strike]
wipe kitchen window sill didn't really matter so left it
[strike]clean rabbit hutch (or at least his litter tray)[/strike]
tidy/vacuum hall cupboard never got around to this
[strike]check the kids rooms are tidy
    Dust the bedroom and landing
put empty ebay boxes away and recycle some
put ebay coats in black sack and away[/strike]
clean mould under landing window hid it behind boxes instead! must deal with this
[strike]freshen cat litter tray and fill with fresh
write note for dad (feeding pets etc)
    get tea/coffee/sugar supplies for 1st day[/strike]
fill small bottle with sunflower oil for breakfasts forgot and had to buy bottle, left what remained at the holiday cottage.

By the way loving the colours each day pigpen as it saves my black ink! Each day I paste my list in notepad and quickly change the previous day's list to show up as white text and I print on the same sheet of paper so that each new entry appears under the old one. I cross off the list in pencil as I go through my day, but never delete bits off the main list in notepad. Midweek I rotate the printout and print down the other edge, so all lists are on the same side of the same sheet! Genius! lol Maybe this sounds a lot of work but it certainly works for me and appeals to the side of me that likes faffing about with stuff lol!

Hi everyone. I'm so bad - had every intention of having a reasonably early night but ended up staying up and watching sex & the city re-runs which didn't finish until 1.30am! Fortunately DD1 stayed in bed til 8.30 and I got DD2 up at 9.15 after my shower. My kids are so good staying in bed late. (incidentally, DD2 in bed at 7.15pm and DD1 8pm last night so I don't keep them up late).

Shell - not caught up on the old thread fully so I assume you're doing your driving test - Good Luck! re. the rescue remedy - it tastes like whisky cos its preserved in alcohol. I think for situations such as these you can just take it if you feel you need it. If I was you I'd put it in my pocket and have a quick squirt just before!

Picking M & D up from the airport in an hour so suppose I've still got time to get a few things done before I go.

Besides the bathroom list I need to:
    • Update grocery challenge
    • washing
    • drying
    • move stuff from lounge to landing for DH (or most likely me) to put in the loft
DD1 off school for another week still - am I the only one?
