Creeps in very quietly in the hope that no-one notices how long I've been missing..........
Sorry, Miss Pigpen, my mum hasn't written me a note and I really can't think up a decent excuse for being awol.
I think the turning point was last week when the TV blew up and I moved it out of the lounge and there was LOTS of scary dust under the stand!
So, hopefully, I'M IN!!"all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
I am in again.
Glad its the bathroom, nice and easy. I have 3 ebay items to post but they are quite large so may take 2 trips. Have earnt £176 this weekend from ebay, with another 3 items ending later this week that are already over £10 so am hoping will end up with £200:money: . Plus I have a bit more space so win win there.
I have book a session with someone who does hynonsis (spelt that wrong bu cannot be bother to check it - sorry) for Tuesday night so hoping that I will help with my nerves for Wednesday - if it works it would have been cheaper than reapplying for my test so here hoping.
Right off to bed my lovelies - kiddles to [STRIKE]get rid off [/STRIKE]take to school tomorrow:D0 -
Pigpen, you had me all confused there for a bit. I went to the old thread. In your penultimate post, you were talking about the bunnies etc. In your final post you said "Noooooo Fred!"
I was waiting for you to post to tell us about what one of your sons, called Fred, had just been up to to make you rush off in such an exclamatory type of way.
It was only after a few minutes I realised you were typing in a northern accent and Noooo was really New! and Fred was really Thread!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I must take this plum out of my mouth and stick a babel fish in me ear.....
Night night ladies - may your dreams be sweet and your sleep be deep

I need to be in this week, yet I've been missing for so long, my house is um pigging.
Worst bit is I have people coming to stay on Tuesday night and a playdate for DD on Wed ....
So, I'm damned glad it's the bathroom tomorrow, I'm less glad about the study bit, but I may gloss over that!
I'm going to need to achieve a full week in one school day .. on Tuesday, so any I get done before then is a "brucy bonus" .... OMG ...GC - March 2024 -0 -
Evening peeps
SO lets see how much of this weeks list I can get done :rotfl: !
Thanx to pigpen for noooo fred
Welcome to Tag
Welcome back Solway
Soappie - took me a few mins to get it too !!!
Well done shell on your ebaying. When I took my test years ago, I just said to myself can I afford Not to pass - the answer was no. I was a nervous wreck but knew I had to do it, and passed first time. Good luck
Nicki - I'm hopeless with nails let alone colour on them. I actually had white bits on my nails all week and all the same length until yesterdays flying. I managed to break 3 so cut them all off now as they looked ridiculous. How pigpen manages I'll never know
I'm back at work tomorrow and I know I'll be busy  , DD is not back until Tuesday and DS has a Maths exam in the morning so fingers crossed for him and anyone else with kids doing GCSE's this week.
Well I've got a mountain of washing to sort then it'll be bed for me as alarm will go at 6 as I'll have my work stuff to iron in the morning (once I've found it of course  )
Hopefully will catch you all tomorrowMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Evening all and yes I'm in but setting myself up to fail already as I just keep thinking when will I have time.
Hope and Solway lovely to see you both again.
Kaz/Soappie - took me a long time too, I'm so southern!
GCSE (EDEXCEL) MATHS TOMORROW IS CALCULATOR PAPER IN THE AFTERNOON
good luck to everybody who has kids taking it.
I have a mountain of laundry to fold and another wash to put on then it is time for bed.
Study is not an easy option for me, if I could find the camera I'd take you a photo. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Evening all
I fizzled out like a damp squib last week and haven't done much flying all weekend either. You all shame me!
Gemish and GandB- big hugs to you.
Welcome back to all you shirkers (mmmmmmmmmmmm pot? kettle?) :rotfl:
and :hello: to all newbies - you don't have to be mad to join here, but if you are - it helps!
Bonsibabe - how's the knitting going? Take care of that back.
Glad all you who've been away have enjoyed your hols too.
We had a lovely day out on Saturday. DS thinks her audition went OK, so fingers crossed, but she's already lining up her next one! I blame her godfather! DS and GF enjoyed their picnic in Ashton Court and the museum trip but it was very hot and humid in there.
I've been fighting migraine all day, but nipped in to town this morning, then I've been working most of the time since. DH has been amazing - I'll have him flying yet. He cut the front and back lawns, arranged the rockery stones, cooked a roast dinner, collected DD from the station and did ALL the ironing. :T
BTW, don't know if anyone else is as sad as me but I was really pleased with the results for "I'd do anything" and "Britain's got talent." I just wish I'd placed a bet.
DS has exams this week and is planning to go to school all day tomorrow - Double Science lessons first thing, library free time (he chats with the librarian) lunch and an exam at 1.30 (Yes, that one, Dusty). I'm worried sick as he only just copes with 2 hours, and that's a struggle. At least I can take him, and I'll be back in time to collect him. His year head is very good, as is the senco and one of his friends will be with him most of the time, so I suppose I shouldn't worry, but I can't help it. If he plays it wrong, he could be in bed for weeks again.:undecided
Anyway, like a few others, I'm doing my own list as usual, coz I don't cope well with change. So here's mine:
Dailies
SS Kitchen, Bathroom, Shower room
Make beds
DW, WM, TD, BM, CM
Feed dogs, cats and fish
Groom dogs and cats
Walk dogs
5GC
Manic Monday - Kitchen, Utility and Dining Room/Area
Level One
Clean floors in these areas
Level Two
Wipe down surfaces
Wipe kitchen cupboard fronts and kickboards
Wipe down fronts of major appliances (cooker, fridge, freezer etc) and inside the microwave
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Clean washer drawer, filters on the dryer, dishwasher and cooker hood filters
Clean the oven if missed last week or it needs it
Extra tasks - if you want to do more:
Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps, a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
Empty one shelf (or the top of a cupboard) clean it, clean what's on it and put it all back
Clean out and organize one cupboard, more if you like
Wipe & replace small appliances like kettle, toaster etc (wipe under too, especially the toaster!)
BTW - I like I***- a lot of our furniture is from there. I always embarrass the kids by picking up the books from the displays and reading them - just because I can! LOL!
I'm off to bed now, so goodnight all, hope you all have a good night. xDMP mutual support thread No: 433 - Mortgage - £54,556, Credit cards - £4012, Unsecured loan - £3,376, Other - £419

I'm in again this week, DD back at schol tomorrow but I've got my newphew until Tuesday night and DS is not back at school til next week. Though I'm off to get him the indianna Jones Lego game for his PS tomorrow. So should be able to get cleaning done while he plays game.
I also need to get some pots,as have decided to start growing own veg again as at the moment I'm wasting quite a bit of salad,.GC: £400/ £00 -
Forgot to say when I went shopping in Morrisons earlier, the girl on customer services called me over and asked if I was the 'lady'
who helped out the old boy last week. Apparently he'd been in earlier today and was saying how much he'd like to thank me as he really appreciated me staying with him while waiting for the ambulance. I was so chuffed as I'd been looking in the local paper for death notices  . He had collapsed because his blood pressure had dropped really low, so much so that the paras couldnt get a reading and his pulse was only 52, he spent a couple of days in hospital and is back home up and about as normal. Really pleased he got better.
