kaz that's wonderful must be reassuring for you aswell. I remember the day I was stopped by a guy I helped who'd been knocked off his motorbike, I didn't recognise him as he still had a helmet on when he left me with the ambulance team. His arm was all strapped up, thought he'd broken it. His Mrs also apologised for going hysterical when I, a complete stranger, had to phone her from his mobile :rotfl: I NEVER want to have to make a call like that again.

Good luck to those with exams tomorrow, I remember mine well, did it in hot pants, knee high boots and a very small top :rotfl: :o because I'd forgot it was on, called for a friend to be told she was at an exam - panic time - ran to the school and begged for them to let me in without my uniform etc. They did and I got a B which wasn't too bad, especially as I didn't have a calculator.

PF like you I wished I'd placed the bets, I was going to on george, odds were not as high with Jodie, I loved the dancing in the rain routine. Signature were good aswell however, I liked the Thriller routine better!

Shell - We're all willing you on!! As soon as someone says test I go to pieces, my friend is worse she ended up on precribed meds to get through hers. What worked for me was 'Bach's Rescue Remedy' recommended by another nervous friend. Passed :D

DPs gone to bed to watch football, I think he's in a huff as he was expecting some affection, sorry I've had 3 hours sleep honey and I don't think I can be fluffed! Anyway going to make the effort to go and speak to him at least, then probably be told to shhh the football is on :rotfl: night night everyone xxx
One day I might be more organised...........

You have very good taste in caravans Miss lil_me ;) that is an identical layout to ours :D (different make but very similar otherwise) and have you tried E&L for insurance yet? We store ours on a COSSoA site but like you say some insurers won't insure unless storage is COSSoA standard.

I have just got to lift out the carpets in ours and hoover them tomorrow and then with Dad's help will be putting it away until the summer hols. Spoke to Mum and Dad tonight and they are willing to come away with us for a couple of days to help set the awning up and if necessary come back and help pack up at the end of the hols. Definitely can't manage to put the awning up without help as A is a tad on th e short side still but proved to myself (whilst the chap next door watched  ) that I can take it down safely by myself. So this week I shall be considering where to go for the main hols which are in only 7 weeks time

Bed for me now otherwise I won't be up in time for the school run, night all xx

Well I'm going to be shattered tomorrow - sitting watching Paul McCartney in concert :D:D:D Doesn't beat seeing him live, but it'll have to do until I've paid off my debts ;)

I have been productive though - I've sorted through all the paperwork that was dumped on the desk (just got the pile ontop of the scanner to do now :o - mainly my OU stuff though) and I've updated my finances  Not looking very good at all, but mainly due to the problems with benefits being all over the place so hopefully it should all settle down now - and I know I have about £200 a month "left" after bills to pay for groceries and my overdraft so I think it's going to be a minimal spend month for me to see if I can keep £100 of that in my account - it does look like I won't be paying off my overdraft this year though :mad: Will have to see.

I best go and clear this last pile of papers though so I can crack on with the kitchen and maybe even the livingroom Monday ;)

I'm in. It's a public holiday here today - Queens Birthday weekend - and before you start - yes I know it's not her birthday today - or even this month!! Don't know why we celebrate it when we do

I finished my Budget advisor course on Saturday. The exams went pretty well, but will have to wait till later in the week to get the results.

Have spent today trying to catch up on business accounts - I got so behind this month. Still have May accounts to print out tonight.

I've also got a sore throat coming on. Not happy about that.

    Morning all.

Kaz, it is nice to get a follow up from something like that isn't it?

And good luck to all those with exams this week but, slipping into grumpy old woman mode for a moment - a calculator exam? When I was a gal, all we were allowed were logarithmic tables - not even a slide rule. What is the world coming to?

Denise - enjoy your Queen's Birthday day. I work in government circles as a freelance. The Civil Servants have an extra 'privilege' day off for the Queen's birthday and they seem to take it at randomly different times each year. This year, the memo came out that where I currently work, they could take either the Friday off before this last bank holiday or the Tuesday off after this last bank holiday. Hope your sore throat heals quickly.

Right, better think about getting dressed. The dog and I are off to work soon. I'll tackle the flylady list when I get home. Have a good day everyone.
