Morning everyone, Or it was when i started thinking of posting. I may get into a routine of sorts soon, but it will depend on Sam as he is so unsettled again today - he won't settle after feeding, even if i feed him for 45 mins to an hour, and he just grizzles till the next feed. Not helped by DS1 mucking around for attention. He got the babies dummy this morning and put it in, then climbed into the bouncy chair while i was BFing. I think i am probably too stressed by it all.
I relented and did another bottle of formula to settle him, and he went straight off to sleep. i think i will mix feed just so i can get some peace now and again or i will be insane within a few days.
In spite of this, i have managed to:- feed us breakie
- do teeth cleaning and washing
- wash mats from bathroom
- wash a load of towels
- play bricks
- only have barney on 1x
- have lunch
- play more bricks
gandb well done you.

Well done Shell and GandB!
Don't feel like I've done much off my list today, well I haven't but I have managed to put the kids curtain pole up(usually dh's thing when he's home he'd probably be having a fit now if I told him what I was up to:rotfl: )and paint the skirting boards twice. So nearly finished, the end is in sight! Then I can get on with cleaning.
Anyone know the best solution for getting paint off of laminate? Some of it has come off easy but need to use something better for a few bits?DFW no.630!

Yeah.. bet you slept with the relevant staff members.. lol..
go worry the bunny some more!!
We let ours out last night when everyone else had gone to bed and they were going wild.. chasing their ball all over the floor.. mad things!
I respone to whoevers question it was.. we leave the front of the cage opena dn they run back in to use the tray to pee.. we do end up with a few bunny currants around though but they vacuum up easily enough.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Im in. :hello:
G & B well done!! :T
Shell - well done on the weightloss and good luck for wed! Driving is one my goals once we have some spare income as need to be able to have my own car for where were planning to move to in few years.
Michelle - We have been doing mixed feeding since day 1 as lil munchkin has a huge appetite. We try to limit her to 1 formula bottle a day unless shes out and about in place i dont feel comfy b/fing or with someone else. We now have a routine where she has "boobie juice" all day and has a formula bottle about midnight which OH can give her, which means I can get 4/5 hours sleep before the 4am feed  She does sometimes have a formula bottle in the day if shes VERY cranky though and wont settle. I felt guilty doing it but my midwife made me feel better pointing out any b/fing is better than none.. and also a happy mum is most important thing to have a happy baby so if it takes a bottle of forumla now and again to give yourself a break and keep your sanity - well so be it! Which i have to totally agree on!
Anyways.........
Done few bits this morning but DD is a little cranky and not herself at all so shes spent loads of time on my knee getting cuddles and sleeping. She was really sick yesterday so im keeping my eye on her so dont mind not flying to give her lots of "mummy cuddles"
Had a good news weekend otherwise as the lady come last night and picked up my sofa i sold on ebay and gave me the full £50 cash for it! (only wanted £25 )And i finally contacted Morphy Richards about my breadmaker which broke over a year ago (yes i know!!!!) Glad i did as i got an email this morning saying they will be sending a replacement free of charge as its still under 2 warranty until july !:D
Just doing a weekly shop online as need lots of bulky items and my mum wants me to order some washing powder for her which she cant get elsewhere.. was shocked when all i added to my basket was:
1 ASDA WHOLEMEAL LOAF - 65P
15 SMARTPRICE EGGS - £1.50
1 250G SMARTPRICE BUTTER - 85P
8 PINTS MILK - (4 PINTERS ON SPECIAL OFFER) - 2 FOR £2
TOTAL £5
I was really shocked... seems such a lot of money for such a basic list.. but im guessing thats just cos im used to everything being unrealistically sooo cheap
List looks like this:
