Thank you again for the lists pigpen, they are a life saver.

Seconded!! Although I don't follow them to the letter, because, for example, I have this "thing" about vacuuming everywhere when the machine is out rather than just the room on that days list and ditto with dusting, having the lists means I can incorporate stuff I would forget about otherwise in with what I do daily - if that makes any sense at all? :o Anyway - PIGPEN IS APPRECIATED!

Horrible rain here again today, be floods in our small town again soon if this keeps up.

Haven't got much done so far today, but there's always later / tomorrow / next week / next month yes?

Right - accounts to do so am going to have a quick rush around the site and then log out.

Michelle - Can totally see why you send him and like you say if he didnt go regularly when you do return to work then it would be so much harder. I know yesterday and today Caitlyn didnt want to go into Nursery, think she enjoyed being at home during half term too much:D . You feel horrid leaving them but know within 5 mins they are having a whale of a time whilst your still worrying. Both days I've phoned the check and she has been fine.

    Quick update:-

    Bathroom
Stuff squirted down loo (will scrub in a min)
    Bath scrubbed
    Tiles wiped down
    Sink now shiney
    FLOORS TO DO

    Lounge
    Dusted
Kids stuff put back in their room (minus what DD2 is currently playing with - Bratz top trump cards)

    Kitchen
    S & S
Half a bowl of dishes so will wait till full load

Will hoover & mop floors next. Need to do a load of washing too so that will need TD later. Will put bag to drop at charity shop next to front door so I remember to do that too.

Doing HHC from 2.30 till 3 as thats when I need to leave to collect DD1.

What a morning Ive had. Woke up with my left ear blocked and painful. I tend to have problems with it anyway. Was worried it was an infection. So rang access centre at hospital 20 minutes away. We can check but cant syringe. Ok I thought I will go to GP surgery 5 mins away. Receptionist said go to access centre and anyway we dont give out appointments till 12. Told her I had already been in touch and could I have an emergency app. You have to sit and wait then go into a wee room with a phone. It rings and someone asks what the problem is. I explained she mentioned access centre. I said you mean you want me to go all the way there get it checked and if it needs syringing come all the way back here to get an appointment. She said they had no appointments and anyway you wouldnt get in till Friday. Honestly Im an easy going person but I hung up marched out and have been to access centre anyway. I mean how long would it have taken them to have a quick look. Sorry to ramble but I was furious. That surgery is getting a really bad reputation. Hence I have got back home wet and hungry.

Soappie Hope you had a safe journey.

Mudbath Good news about your hand and hugs for DD.

Shell2001 You mentioned Paul Mcenna and chocolate. Was it the tapping you did?

Raining here so back with the cleaning. I have spent the last three days weeding and I am still only half way round. Lovely DH has made me a chicken excluding fence round the veg plot so I finally got to put the rest of the veg in.

I am just in from work and have a couple of client advice e-mails to do before I get on with 'the list'. Need to do HHI as well.

GnB - congratulations - very envious! Fingers crossed for Edinborough too (sp? used to fly into the airport once a week and now I cant spell it even)

DD is starting to drive me mad so I think she's probably ready for school tomorrow. Bless her!

I'm sure the other mums at school think i'm dodgy. I turned up today with a load of dd's toys she's grown out of and said 'free to a good home'. I love decluttering. It all got taken too :rotfl: .

So, spent most of the afternoon clearing dd's room with her. She wanted to help and I may as well make use of her being off. A bin bag full of rubbish, loads of paper for recycling, two carrier bags of stuff that I got rid of at school and her room still isn't finished. She has too much furnicture in there.

Right, pie in the oven, ds has half an hour of playstation time and hopefully allotment when DH comes home if the rain holds off. The sun is trying to come out now.

Going to do a quick hour studying and then finish tea off.

    Speak later xx
