Right, change of plan on the tea front. DH got taken out for lunch so will not want a "proper" tea. Me and the girls will have cheese and ham toasties with salad:D .

BODDY - you didnt tap with this one you just push 2 fingers together. If you want it I can PM to you, already have it typed out as sent to a couple of other people.:D

School didnt give DD1 her ear drops today:mad: , apparently they went to office but couldnt see it (it was on the filing cabinet with the rest of the medicines:rolleyes: , think I may have confussed them by putting a bottle of calpol in there too. Will think a 4 hour gap will be ok:confused: .

Off to put a wash on as the t-shirt I want for tomorrow needs washing.

    Evening all

Journey to work was fine after all, just as I was about to leave the news came that the road had reopened so I got to work nice and early. Mind you, there was a lot of standing water everywhere - and also on the way home this evening. It's done nothing but rain all day! And it's cold. I've put the heating on!

Happy birthday to your dog Polly

    Hugs to the poorly ones

I shall go and do a bit of flying and post a couple of bits up on ebay.I think.

I have utmost respect for you gals/guys. I don' t know how you manage it.
I did my first flybaby last night after work and just washing up the dishes, putting them away, cleaning the sink and doing level 1 & 2 bathroom wiped me out (sorry for the awful pun).

I realised that my OH leaves the kitchen cupboard doors open all the time. its driving me nuts.

A quick pop in as it's the usual manic Tuesday evening, DPs club which I help with. Been 'caravan stuff' shopping today aswell as getting the towbar fitted, I think we've spent close to £1500 today (inc tow bar) and we still have more to get, whoever said caravaning is a cheap holiday LIES! Ok that does inc an awning aswell. I also still have the insurance and storage to pay for EEEK!!! Crazy!!! But suppose most of it we'll only have to buy again when/if it breaks. Pick the caravan up tomorrow :D have sorted getting it service at a reduced price (£100 instead of their usual £160) before we go and pick it up.

Right, best go get sorted for this evening, hope you are all well, hugs for those who need one and Happy Birthday to Pollybear's pooch, we had a BBQ on Megan's 11th birthday a few weeks ago :D
One day I might be more organised...........

My DH does this. It is so annoying, don't really think that it takes that much effort to shut the door. Never mind.

Have a phone interview tonight. Not sure how it will go but I am trying not to build my hopes up. Am sure that they will want people to do afternoon shifts and I can only do weekend and evening as I will be looking after DS and DD otherwise. I have nothing to lose by doing the interview especially as I don't even have to leave the house and I don't have to get dressed up for it. May even wear my pyjamas :D

I'm so excited for you lil_me :D Sounds like you have done most of the expensive spending for it today. It's usually the little things that get forgotten like a box of matches/corkscrew/teaspoons. Make sure you get some water system cleaner stuff so that you can flush it all through before you use it for the first time. Something like milton will be fine.

Ours went back into storage yesterday but it won't be that long before we take it out again :)

soappie - happy to see you made it to work and back safely. I was wondering how it went.
I heard on the radio that there was a multi car pile-up on the M20 near Folkestone, because of fog and the motorway was closed. It is only half an hour from here, and there was no fog at all here - it was very grey and cloudy this morning, until midday and then sun, so I had a great couple of hours on the allotment, then it threw it down just as the children all came out of school!
