Just rung my local Sainsburys and they have no record of receiving the mugs today. I also phoned my local Somerfield and they said they should be getting some in on Wednesday so worth popping in if you have one nearby

Just picked up two in my local coop (small branch). They were on the tops of the shelves as if on display. Couldn't reach them and asked one of the people who were filling the shelves and he said he would get two new ones from the stockroom. He had plenty. This was in Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W13

Luckily I work very colse to Aldershot Tesco, so I have just popped out and got two. I had given up on them as there did not seem to be any last week.

I got up early this morning to try Farhman Sainsburys (Waters Lane), but there were non on the shelves, and Customer Services were far from helpful. So I am very pleased that Tesco came through in the end.

I decided to e-mail them last week after coming off the the telephone and being told that we would not be able to get them in Scotland.

I was polite and didn't rant (although I did feel like it at the time). I merely mentioned that I was annoyed and felt let down that Scottish Stores were not included in the promotion - after all they do sell PG Tips so why shouldn't they be included. My sons are also huge Wallace & Gromit fans and thought these mugs looked great after seeing them advertised on TV.

I received the following e-mail this morning which I didn't think was very helpful!!



Dear Anic

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry that you feel annoyed and let down by PG Tips due to not
being able to get a free Gromit Mug with special packs of 160 PG Tips Tea Bags in Scotland.

As previously advised it has been decided to only distribute these promotional packs in England and I am sorry that you won't be able to get them for your children.

All 1.5 milion mugs are distributed out to the numerous stores which have taken stocks and we do not hold any at our factory.

I hope that this helps to clarify the situation and I am sorry we cannot help
you further on this occasion.

I have just been in every shop in Formby and a few in Southport looking for these for my Grandchildren... So far not a sniff... Anybody in this area got any ideas/clues/knowledge etc?...Bingalau

Tesco in Salisbury have them stacked up, lots & lots of them in the doorway!!

I don't know how they managed to get them but Tesco in Milngave had about twenty on the end opposite the deli counter when I left about 1.00 today
