I still can't find them in Milton Keynes!!! I've tried 2 Tesco stores (loads of free digestives packs), somerfield, sainsbury, kwiksave. I'm running out of places to look. Arrrrggghhh

'Thank you for your recent email in regards to the promotional Gromit Mugs with special packs of 160 PG Tips Tea Bags.

I am sorry to hear that the special offer mug is not available in Scotland.

I can assure you that no discrimination is intended.

We supply the packs to Supermarket distribution centres and they decide which individual stores get stock.

If a decision has been made not to stock the promotional packs in Scotland, then that decision has been made by the supermarket not ourselves.

Sorry for any disappointment this may cause.

I was sorry to hear that Wallace and Gromit mugs are not available in your area. These are a limited edition mug which is free with special packs of 160 PG Tips Tea Bags.

To co inside with the film release on the 14th October we were only granted permission by Ardman Animations to manufacture 1.2 million mugs. As we only have a limited amount of mugs, we have made the decision to sell them in the supermarket superstores only in England.

The Gromit mugs will be available in the following retailers.

Tesco from 10th October
Asda from 10th October
Morrisons from October
Co-op from 3rd October
Budgens from 17th October
J. Sainsbury from 17th October

We do not have any plans at present to produce any left handed mugs but I will keep your details on file for future reference in case we do at a later stage.

I was also told both on the phone and confimred in the reply to my e-mail (from the same Jo Kell) that the promotion is only for England.

Surely if it was up to the supermarkets where they sent them then PGtips would not know the promotion was only for England!!!
