Yesterday afternoon I checked in Sainsbury's Altrincham & there were none. I asked a passing assistant who said there was a new delivery in a couple of hours so by the time I'd finished my shopping round the town & popped back, there was a stack at an isle-end, so it's worth making an enquiry - I'd never have gone back again so soon otherwise!0

Full shelf at Tesco, Bradley Stoke this morning end of aisle 5..."We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough
"There is a special place in hell for women who don't help other women" - Madeleine Albright0 -
OH managed to get ours at Tesco Dover yesterday. He said they had loads. Must be regular deliveries because he missed getting the last one the day before by seconds. Cost £2.660

....I agree BUT what I disagree with is people buying them and selling them on for profit,..especially when lets face it Wallace and Gromit is a child based theme, the advert on tv didnt say it was limited edition, my child saw one and waned one, it would have been fairer to buy one or a coupon collection, heck I dont drink tea of coffee but would have got a pkt for daughter, thank goodness its harvest festival time!!
Anyway, the point is people want one, pg tips and Ardman have missed a big money making opportunity, and we miss getting mugs for people who want them. And if there are so many available in Scotland why not buy some and offer them to people on MSE who want them, Id rather pay a fiver to an MSE friend than someone on ebay!!!!I wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.0 -
I picked up one in Tesco yesterday at Haslingden, Lancs and there were loads. I have to go back in today and get something else and can have a look to see if there are any left. If anyone wants me to post them one, PM me asap and I'll see what I can do.0

Well my daughter is now the proud owner of a W & G mug and is happily drinking her hot chocolate from it as I type.
Many thanks to liz_uk who made a small person very, very happy by passing on her spare mug. Very much appreciated.
I feel a bit of a plonker though, as I asked Liz for the teabags too as I thought they were Gromit shaped and therefore a little unique and worth keeping. Don't ask me where I got that notion from....I have no idea.I was sure I read it somewhere but can't find anything about it this morning. :rotfl:
Needless to say the teabags are ordinary ones, not shaped at all and I could've saved money on postage costs if I'd just left the teabags with liz.
So....just in case anyone else out there thinks the teabags are shaped......they're not.
Off for a cuppa now...........Herman - MP for all!0 -
