Dear Mrs Woo
Thank you for your email.
I was sorry to hear that Wallace and Gromit mugs are not available in your area. These are a limited edition mug which is free with special packs of 160 PG Tips Tea Bags.
To co inside with the film release on the 14th October we were only granted permission by Ardman Animations to manufacture 1.2 million mugs. As we only have a limited amount of mugs, we have made the decision to sell them in the supermarket superstores only in England.
The Gromit mugs will be available in the following retailers.
Tesco from 10th October
Asda from 10th October
Morrisons from October
Co-op from 3rd October
Budgens from 17th October
J. Sainsbury from 17th October
We do not have any plans at present to produce any left handed mugs but I will keep your details on file for future reference in case we do at a later stage.
I hope that this helps to clarify the situation. I am sorry that I am unable to provide you with any further specific information.
Kind regards
Jo Kell
PG AdvisorI wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.0 -
Went to my tiny Tesco Metro round the corner and there they were !!
I bought two, so if anyone wants one (with or or without the teabags), please PM me and you can have it for what I paid plus P&P.

Pm on it's way liz.
I was off out on the hunt today until I saw the post above saying they were only available in England.
Think that's pretty unfair myself. It goes without saying there will be hundreds if not thousands of children who (especially having seen the film), will be desperate for a mug like this. It's a real shame on the kids in Scotland if their parents can't track one down. My 6 year old daughter has pleaded with me to get one.
Anyway, liz, I'd be very thankful if I could take one of these off your hands..............(and I'd have the teabags too if that's ok :rotfl: ).Herman - MP for all!0 -
If anybody does want these and can't get hold of them there are loads on ebay. Somebody is selling three of them as a lot which no postage charge for £15. Others are selling them at £10 each so make sure you shop around.0

Just to advise that Tesco's in Chesterfield have got some left this afternoon. They've not even unpacked them, just rolled the pallets in and left them at the end of the central aisle. Some left, but going like hot cakes (to go with the mugs of course - lol!). Not been this week so don;t know if just out today?0

got mine today from a local Tesco

I have to say that the mug is very cumbersome to drink out of
...think it will sit on my shelf as a display item for a while:D

I cannot believe that PGTps are only releasing them in England and not the UK as a whole. This is race discrimination on a corporate scale. I think that we the Welsh,Scots and Irish should start a class action against PG for this.....all in favour say 'aye'Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

I've already emailed them to point out how unfair I think this is.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Gosh...I trhink that extortion!!!!How could people be so stupid to buy them just in case they do buy it from ebay....I know that they are a bit limited but...charging £5 for a mug is a bit too much. The tea with the mug only costs £2.66 in the shops...Sealed Pot Challenge 2012 #1502:)
Debt free by 2014, hopefully earlier...:T0
