Peston says hbos may bounce. He is refering to their discount to the merger deal and Hbos/lloyds statement 0.83 swap will not change.

127.40 / 225.25 = 0.566

'Correct' deal price would have them at 186.96. Free money or risky business?

Anyone got a schedule to the merger, when the votes are and shares converted, etc
If peston is right the discount should reduce in line with that proceeding, ie. hbos to outperform

Weird that they have decoupled from the Lloyds share price

But I was badly burned on B&B so I am leaving bank shares alone
