For anyone who is thinking of buying something in particular, I have noticed that you can do online shopping (not food) on the US site & they have the exact products stocked in the UK as well as the same price so it is useful for knowing the price & shopping around before you go to the UK shop:

But the prices are the USA $ prices??!0 -
Yes you have to convert it to GBP according to the exchange rate & that's more or less how much you'll find it selling in the UK for
eg I paid £40 for the goose down duvet & on .com they are selling it for $75 which is £430 -

Costco in Milton Keynes had lots of tins of Winnie the Pooh sweets (mini packets of Jelly Tots, Pastilles, Kit-Kats etc.) for £1.97+VAT yesterday. These come in a lovely round tin with a picture of Pooh and Tigger in the winter - contained around 50 packets of sweets for £2.31. I got two but now wish I'd bought a few more - grab them while you can.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Bought a bag of Wagg chicken & Veg dog food at Costco yesterday, never looked at the price in store, last bag I got was about £8.50. Checked the till receipt on the way out and only paid £4.19 (ex VAT), £4.93 with VAT. And the bag had a sticker saying that a free dog lead valued at £2.99 was included. I have not found the lead yet but still works out very cheap for mutt food.If ya want to get into it, ya got to get out of it.0
