I was offered a deal from vodafone direct sales which seems pretty good.
They offered me a motorola V3 razr,200 minutes x network,250 text messages(could probably get more) and stop the clock on an 18 month contract for £12.50 for the first three months and £15.00 for the remainder. The phone is a customer return and comes with leather case, usb cable, mains charger and bluetooth headset and three months insurance.
I came across vodafone direct sales by pure accident and they told me to forget looking at the website or their shops as they are the department with the money, strange statement but that's what they said.
Can anyone tell me if I could get a better deal elswhere.I have tried orange and they could not get close to the deal voda are offering.I am currently on t-mobile and I'm not to impressed with their service in my area.
thanks

For a second hand phone it seems about right. For a new phone it would be a bargain! I would probably gof or it since the phone should be in perfect condition though.0

Thanks feival
I was told that these phones would have not been used. They are usually sent out then returned because of something like there is no voda reception or cannot afford but that are all returned within fourteen days of going out.
I could go for a "new" razr but this would put the monthly cost up to £19.00 a month.
They did offer me a brand new no frills nokia (no camera ect) for £15.00 a month. They seemed to put different phones in different price brackets.
They wanted £25.00 a month for the Sony 750i.I think if you where the type of person to talk a good deal they where willing to give it.On the monthly usage of text messages they asked me how many I wanted and this was after he had give me the price of the package,I think if I had of said 1000 he would of said yes.

Well, if there is no coverage they would have to charge the battery, put it into the phone and turn it on? Therefore it is used. If they have done that who isn't to say that they haven't used it for a few days either. Chancces are if it was in the case the uint is perfect but maybe not the case? I would still go for it at that price though. Lovely phone.
Actually to be honest I wouldn't personally take it since the phone doesn't sync up with outlook unless you by software and I wasn't prepared to do that! I have never typed a contact into a phone ever and there are 500 on my phone!!0 -

Hello elisebutt65
I have PM ed you,so to speak.sometimes you're the pigeon, sometimes you're the statue!0 -
I don't like 18 month plans but my contract with Vodafone ran out six months ago and I'm still with them paying £15 pm with 100 mins and 50 texts - so I'd say you'd got a good deal there. Perhaps I'd better get my finger out now. Mind you I really would like the SE w800i.
I've been with them for about 8 years though so maybe ...................they might give me a good deal? Well anything is better than the one I have compared to others atm! I got my last deal by calling them - would that be Vodafone direct??0 -

Do me a favour and pass me the number too. I once had a good introductory deal on vodafone but that ran out 6 months ago and my bills now are regularly in the £40's.
