    Hi thanks for all that
It was June not May and I do get the 10% they called today but there really is nothing on the certificate at all about rates.
I am told I should prob have been given a choice of designated account but I applied for it online and you just had to take what was on offer
Glad to know I couldn't have done better though!

My last regular payment went into the account last month. Due to mature on 10th this month.

I've cancelled the standing order. What happens to the regular saver after it matures and the money gets dumped into the web saver account? Will it get closed automatically or will I need to close it myself?

If you don't fund it, it will close.

In my previous experience, the account will remain open even if you do not fund it.

That's interesting. Do you know if, as it remains open, you could start again after a few months gap should the rates improve again. That could save a bit of hassle.

I wouldn't have thought so, as the T&Cs say that the rate is fixed for subsequent years on the anniversary of initially funding the account when it was first opened.

Mine, like many others', is about to mature.

I'm assuming that if I carry on with the deposits, the rate is going to be 4% for the next 12 months as opposed to 10%?

Never been in the position where I had to think about this before as it was always 7%!
