I personally have no idea, but asked a question along these lines on this other forum and this is the reply from some of the best LPG people about, so if Goldspanners is a fitter, then even those that do LPG conversions can't agree ............? Anyway, this was the reply to my question about heat and all the following folks say it aint a problem............

thats because it means more buisness for them.

given the choice i would always choose diesel over lpg, every component under the bonnet will last longer on a diesel compared to lpg and requires considerably less maintenance and in my opinion offer more hassle free motoring in the long term.

its up to you of course at the end of the day.

I wouldn't dispute that at all. But diesel is £1.30 and rising, so it doesn't look as attrative these days to me. Plus it often costs £1500 more to get a diesel model in the first place.

I wouldn't say those on that forum make statements to gain business either. They regularly advise people that LPG is not right for them or their car due to type or age, so I take their advice at face value myself.
