To blame Atlantic or any other company for underestimating your start read is not really fair.
When you move into a property, it is your responsibility to find out the supplier for the property and to set up an account with them. That includes giving them a read from the day you moved in. Its exactly the same when you move out of a property or when you change suppliers.
If you do this, then your account with that company will be setup with your name on it at the reads you are happy with or closed correctly when you leave.
Companies get enough stick from customers who get estimated reads but when a customer does not supply the reads to start with when they open/ close an account or even contact companies when they move in/out, how are they supposed to keep up and get things right. We all have a responsibility to pay our bills and aiding companies with this information will enable all to be kept happy.0 -
I rec a loyalty cheque today of £2 !!!!
I think I need to ask them how they calculated it, as I have both gas and electric from them.0 -
I was well impressed to receive a cheque for £84 from them today, a loyalty reward for having been a customer for 12 months and paid by D.D.
Given that they are already the cheapest (or thereabouts) supplier already, I reckon this is EXCELLENT.0
