    Computer is still broken, but both yesterday and today have been NSD. I did have to spend £1, but that was for college so I had to do it.

    Doing well with the challeng, but hardly a NSD.

    The car's done. £430.03!! :eek: :cry::cry::cry:

    Off to Edinburgh for the weekend. Budgetted and at least having the car off the road means the tank's still full! :rolleyes:

    I spent £10 in Lidls today but I went with a list and was good. I did spend £2 at Paultons today tho.... DD wanted a go on a remote control car thing, she asked so nicely I couldn't say no, it was £1 for 2 goes and I paid for her little friend too as his Mum didn't have any money.... sensible!! Maybe she's doing this challenge too :rotfl:

    Its amazing how Children manage to get money out of you. I have actually started being really strict with DD. I've started taking drinks and a snack otherwise when we are out she will always ask (now thats very DFW) and stop feeling guilty about not buying stuff, she doesn't need stuff, it doesn't make her any happier....just me! So there I should be saving a fortune :T

    Went through some of our bank charges last night (I claimed and got back £4.5k in 2006) but DH has got £1k on one bank and about £400 on another. Now if we ever get that money back....we're laughing :rotfl:

    I normally take snacks and a drink out too, but normally buy her an ice-cream but I didn't yesterday, made her wait til she got home... I bought some a couple of weeks back. She did get a free one the other day, we went to the shop to get pepsi max for OH and there was an ice-cream van there too, I asked for a small one for her and he let her have it for free :j he was very kind..

    How's everyone doing?? We're 7 days in now and I've spent £2.65 on unnecessary things.... BUT that's a lot better than it would've been if I weren't doing this challenge!!

    Hope everyone is finding it helpful too xx

    Confession time...... I bought 2 x Glamour mags at £2 each because I wanted the lip gloss. They are normally £13 each so a great bargain!!! And I do wear lip gloss a lot so they were kind of necessary.... ok not really... oops!!
