Well done.... its worked then, great news. Are you going to keep going for the rest of June?

:o Well, let me get in the confessional and then I can start again! Yesterday I ended up getting yet another mocha and a bacon and sausage barm for breakfast (although it works out cheaper as a breakfast offer than if I got them separate). Tonight I'm going for a meal with a friend I've not seen for a few months. She was going to come round to mine and I was going to do a curry and be all MSE but I'm that fed up of staying in I rang her back and said I'd booked a table somewhere. We've also decided to have a weekend in the Lakes which we're going to sort out tonight but that will be in July so I'm not counting it in this challenge. Also, there's a very good offer on a garden table and chairs in my local Asda and I'm quite tempted to get it before it goes. I've held on for a couple of weeks but my resolve is slipping away. If I'm not letting the side down and you'll still have me I will keep going for the rest of June!!!

Hi all... sorry not posted for AGES.... oops!!! I've spent £210 that wasn't budgeted speechless-smiley-040.gif on a shiny new bike!!! So I can cycle to work and save money on petrol but I've not been able to this week as I've got a sore throat and feel unwell. I did borrow the money from DD's account rather than put onto credit. I'll pay it back over the next few months.

So it was kind of necessary.... just not budgeted for or planned!!

    Back on track now though

    How's everyone else doing xxx

I frugally MSE'd a pair of sun loungers from someone at work last night (she says, trying to make it sound less bad! :o )

You could say that these weren't essential, in that I live in Scotland, Land of the Cold Damp Summers. OTOH, we DO have outdoor theatre and it's possible to enjoy it, provided you're not sitting on the cold damp grass - hence the chairs. So you could say it was a kind of necessary investment for the future. Couldn't you...

Got the car's MOT next week. Small amount budgetted and, hopefully (everything crossed), there's not much left!

Apart from that, I'm doing quite well. How's everyone else doing?

    HI ALL ,

I`VE HAD A VERY BUSY AND EXPENSIVE FEW DAYS .
I`VE HAD 10 MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY STAYING    .

WE HAD A BIG FAMILY BIRTHDAY TO CELEBRATE SO AS WELL AS FEEDING EVERYONE THERE WAS ALSO THE BIRTHDAY MEAL OUT NOT TO MENTION BIRTHDAY PRESENTS    .

HAVING SAID THAT I WAS QUITE GOOD . I USED A LOT OF BITS AND PIECES UP I HAD IN THE FREEZER , ASKED EVERYONE TO BRING THIER OWN DRINKS , HAD BOUGHT THE PRESSIES A WHILE AGO AT VERY GOOD PRICES IN THE SALES , HAD A BUDGET FOR GOING OUT AND MANAGED TO SPEND LESS THAN I EXPECTED AND DIDN`T BUY ANYTHING ELSE .

SO WHEN YOU LOOK AT IT I SUPPOSE I CAME THROUGH QUITE WELL , EVERYONE ENJOYED THEMSELVES AND I`M QUITE PLEASED I NOW HAVE A LITTLE EXTRA IN MY PURSE I CAN PUT TO GOOD USE .

OTHER THAN A FEW ESSENTIAL FOOD ITEMS I`M GOING TO TRY NOT SPEND ANYTHING FOR THE NEXT 3 / 4 DAYS SO HERE GOES :A

    Well done Cleo!

I'm having another NSD - it's good to be back on track. May have an unexpected and unbudgetted spend before the 30th though. Need to get my passport renewed. It's for work (she says righteously!). Off to Paris for some training...
