thanks basketcase ,
i suppose your right but i wasn`t expecting to spend that much .
i`ve looked at everything i bought and every purchase was necessary but it doesn`t make it any easier to swallow .
on a brighter note i managed to sell my husbands multi gym for £80 this afternoon :j :j :j
so i`m pleased about that .
i`m really going to try extra hard to be good for the rest of the week .

Tell me about it, cleo! Good luck for the rest of the month anyway.
I think the really useful thing to come out of this is challenge is what influences me to spend on unnecessary stuff. Apart from the (very) occasional chocolate bar, most of my unnecessary spending is on my DS & DD. Hmm  If I got rid of my offspring I'd be quids in. And if I sold them into white slavery via Ebay, it'd be very MSE! :rotfl: :rotfl:A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

And I seem to be one of the few who lurk at lunchtime! I'm a Lady Who Lurks! :rotfl:

not doing too bad, thou had a few slip ups, but on the positive side, Im taking dd and my darling father!! (really for his wallet!!) up to the cost 2mor on train (save petrol), used our free 3 month railcard (from this site) to get discount on fair, used a £25.00 voucher (after complaint last yr had £90 vouchers), short of £5.00 on fare so dad paid with remainder with his bus tokens..... so def a money saving journey!! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
