Hi everyone! I am definitely hanging my head in shame because this week I have been a total nightmare
.
I started the month really well with loads of nsd and it's just gone downhill. I've not bought anything major, just things I don't need like the odd bacon butty for breakfast at work instead of taking some cereal in but it is all mounting up. I will try to do better for the rest of this month!!!0 -
Ok - we're nearly at the end of June... I'm going to aim for some really good days, NOT spending money I don't need to..... also planning on cycling to work this week to start saving money on petrol... wish me luck xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." :hello: Hiya all,
I,ve done well NSD yesterday and today, nearly went out for a coffee today but I did have a free voucher anyway. Now if I go out tomoz for coffee, it will still be free and I just have to resist the temptation re, buying a cake or something to go wit it.:D course I could get DP to pay if I can't resist and wont have to spoil my 100% record over the last 4 days:rotfl: :rotfl: xlost 3stin 4mnths GC nov£90/£51.65 July£100/£97.67 Aug£90/£18.59LBM Nov05 Loan £4910.65 Paid April07 sealed pot challenge#256Nov06 CC £2,590.56 Paid aug07 + Savings07/08 Night Owl 22#Mortgage £87,000/£84,000/ £82,261.00/£81,785.30 £80,268/£75402.00/£71229.15 DFW NERD 987 Long Haul member 125 debt free 24th aug 070 -

Hmmmm... She says, jealously, because she has to pay for her own Naughty Spends!
Fell off the wagon on Saturday to the tune of a light lunch for two (with DD) at a nearby NTS property.Haven't been anywhere for ages, though and it was only just over £10 for us both. PLUS it's payday on Wednesday. I do feel a bit guilty, though...
Good news is that the car passed it's MOT! Will need 2 new tyres soon and also one brake pipe will need replacing shortly. But it's OK for now. That's a relief... :beer:A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

HI ALL ,
I`VE JUST HAD A MEGA BAD DAY    .
MY 13 YEAR OLD SON HAS HAD A MAJOR GROWTH SPURT AND I`VE JUST SPENT WELL OVER £200 ON CLOTHES AND SHOES
AND HE STILL NEEDS MORE    .
I`VE GOT ABOUT HALF HIS SCHOOL UNIFORM , SHOES ECT . NEW SUMMER CLOTHES AND A SUITE FOR A WEDDING WE`RE GOING TO IN THE AUTUMN ( I KNOW HE`LL GET TO WARE IT A GOOD FEW TIMES DURING THE YEAR AND HOPEFULLY NEXT SO IT`S CHEAPER TO BUY ONE THAN KEEP RENTING ONE )
I`M GOING TO HAVE TO CUT RIGHT BACK , NO SPENDING FOR ME THIS WEEK !!!0 -
Bad luck Cleo - but isn't that NECESSARY spending, AOT unnecessary?A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
