Coo! Aren't we doing well so far?

Another NSD for me today - have cheesy pasta planned for tea and got a big (budgetted for) on-line shop delivered last Friday, so will only need milk and bread until weekend. :j

You know, I MUST be forgetting something - it shouldn't be this easy and painless.

Mind you, it's likely to get painful VERY shortly - the clutch has gone on my car and there's a bill for £350+ coming up. (We need an emoticon with streams of tears pouring out of its eyes!) It's sort of budgetted for and absolutely necessary - but I had to weep on somebody's shoulder!!
A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

    CHALLENGES

    2025 Declutter:
    1 CONTAINER (box/bag/folder etc) per day; 50/365
1 FROG (minimum) per week; 6/52
WEIGHT I'll start with 25 lbs (though I need to lose more!) and see how it goes...🤔 0/25

    2025 NSDs: 15 per MONTH - FEB 4/15; JAN 21/15
    2025 Fashion on the Ration: (carried over from 2024) 10+66 = 76
2025 Make Do, Mend & Minimise No target, just remember to report!

well I've had a NSD on sunday, spent 39p yesterday and have spent 50p today, but my computer broke yesterday and I don't know how much that id going to cost me. I'm sat at the library now so free internet for half hour and I don't know when I'll be able to update again.

Hope you get your pc fixed Kacie.

I spent £110 today but was on DD's nursery fees so budgeted. But I did have an un-budgeted spend of 60p, for the tea fund at my new work. 20p per day for tea & coffee isn't un-neccessary tho.... Here's to a NSD 2moro.

    How's everyone else doing?

Another NSD for me. Doing this challenge is really keeping me on the straight and narrow - one of the girls at work asked if I fancied a walk to the butty shop but I said if I went I would have to buy something and then I'd have to post it on here!! They probably think I'm mental at work but it stopped me spending on a mocha!!:D

    Had a crap day
I spent £18.59 at the post office although received £22.10 from the ebay items
£5.50 on an aerobics class (came out my £30 allowance)

Just feeling annoyed that I haven't had a no spend day yet! Oh well least im keeping track of the spending
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hey Sally....it's not about having NSD's (although they help) it's about not spending on un-budgeted and unneccessary things... so don't feel annoyed cos you're doing really well. Well done on selling the ebay items, did you get much from them? xx

Fab!! How much has that saved you? It's surprising how quickly it would add up if bought one everyday..... xx

Thanks for the sympathy - the "no unnecessary spend" seems to be OK. It's the amount of necessary but unexpected spending that's snookering me. Car not due back till end of week now, so the bus farecard I bought on Saturday won't last till the end of this week after all  . That means more necessary spending. Bums!

Don't worry Sallyx - you're doing well. Keep it up! :T

Good for you dansmum! I know what you mean about having to give the shop a complete miss. We have a Starbuck's kind of 'coffee station' rather than a shop at work. The shop has all sorts of goodies I'm trying to avoid - hence the low-fat yoghurts. (Sigh) Kepp it up and let's all be nuts together!
