    Happy Birthday Lucy.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Life is definately too short to worry about others all the time.

Hope you have a fab day.

    Happy Birthday Lucy.

You don't know what old is !!!!!!

Anyway age is a state of mind, you are as old as you feel.

As to your question about Wii Fit working, yes I think it does. Any exercise will help you lose weight as long as you don't eat more because you are exercising. I try to do at least 30 mins. every day, 10 mins balance/yoga/muscle type work and 20 mins aerobic exercise. Usually manage 4/5 days out of 7. I also try to do a 40 minute walk daily, but that doesnot always happen, so at least if I have been on the Wii Fit I have done something. I have lost about 5 lbs in the last month, not loads but it is a start.

    Happy Birthday Lucy!

My friend and I did a road trip across North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana last year to celebrate turning 30. We decided to do it when we were 27, so I saved £10 a week in addition to my debt busting efforts to make sure I could go. I also had to do driving lessons and had to have passed my test for a year to be able to hire a car over there as my friend doesn't drive either, it was a real motivator for learning as I've always lived in cities and never needed a car.

Anyway, we did a blog of the trip and of the planning, and as part of the blog we made a birthday and Christmas list so that our friends and family could help chip in for our visits to tourist attractions. My dad paid for us to upgrade to a luxury (instead of basic) log cabin in the Smoky Mountains. My sister covered my entry into Dollywood and Graceland. A friend of ours even sponsored my morning coffee for the duration of the trip. Secret Santa at work got us a road atlas. We did feel a bit cheeky at first but discussed it with family before making our list and they were all pleased to be involved. My friend has a list every year with her family anyway, so they were all cool with it. We also set up adverts on the blog and encouraged our readers to click away. Over two years we earned about £40 BUT that covered one of our internal flights, so it was eventually worth it.

Would this be an option for you?

    I could ask.

I know Mum would rather I had something I wanted for Birthday's/Christmas so it might be an option.

Although luckily I only need the flight.
